Group of 5 men, 4 skiersOverall place was very friendly, easy ski in/out as described. Everything worked. Suggestions for small improvements as follows:Cleanliness of condo on arrival was lacking, namely the previous renter had a pet who left us a doggie special on the back porch which was almost stepped in; similarly there was dog hair on a lot of furniture & surfaces. If pets are allowed the condo must be cleaned more thoroughly.Second suggestion…have a welcome book with descriptions of the area, location of amenities and most importantly a quick how to for the fireplace…loved the wood burning but was not familiar with that type…there is no clear understanding of whether or not a flu is open or closed; starting a fire was no issue but didn’t want to do it until I knew the smoke would draft and not ruin the whole place.More hooks, towel bars, etc are always handy for jackets, etc, provide more towelsYou should disclose the spiral staircase is super tight, no way my 82 year old father was going up that, nor would a larger person be able to… fortunately my dad stayed downstairs and the rest of us were fine going up and down.Lastly, as a coffee drinker, and something very important to most who rent, invest in a nicer coffee pot. That cheap unit is not good.Please take my comments constructively, for my group, this place worked great, but just a couple changes and it would be even better. Thank You!

This was great ski in ski out stay for our whole family. I was surprised that we had to pass through the bunk room and upstairs bathroom to get to the main bedroom. The kitchen was well supplied and we had a great time.

Great ski in/ski out

Great rental! We enjoyed the convenience of the unit. Easy to ski into and out of. The beds were very comfortable. All appliances were good including hair dryers and coffee maker. We had a wonderful time and the ease of check in/check out was a plus

This is probably the best-located unit that allows pets for ski in/out access. Close to the pool too. FYI the far right thermostat is the one that controls the downstairs bedroom. This was really difficult to figure out and we couldn’t sleep in there because it got so hot. There was other signage throughout the unit so I wasn’t sure why these weren’t labeled. Very cute decor!

Great location but can't recommend

Let me start with the positives. This condo is ideally located about 50 yards from the bar and lifts at the resort. We loved our ability to walk over in the afternoon to have a beer and watch mountain bikers come off the mountain. The condo is well decorated. It's clear they put some money into remodeling it. Nice TVs throughout.The view from the patio is lovely. Each bathroom and the kitchen had little welcome boxes that included soaps, lotions, a new dish scrubbie. That was nice. We were there from Sunday to Sunday - so quite a while. If you plan to eat out every single meal, you won't mind that the kitchen doesn't have a single dish towel and the cookware is mediocre, I read in other reviews that the dishwasher doesn't work, so I didn't bother. I used one of the swim towels as a dish rack during the week and washed all by hand. I was mistaken and thought there was a washer/dryer for clothes. There is NOT. Upstairs in the bathroom there is a washer/dryer combo that doesn't work. We had to drive to Durango mid week and use the laundromat to get through the week. The listing includes a Keurig but you won't want to use it because the water tank has mold and bad scale buildup.

Awesome location to lifts

It was a great weekend retreat. Wonderful access to lifts and amenities. The home is well stocked and very comfortable with one exception. Staircase to second floor is super narrow and steep. It is a struggle for older people to traverse especially with any luggage. We had to use pull out bed downstairs for grandparents. Management service is responsive and available for problems and questions.

Fun unit, great location. Tons of games, toys and fun things for the kids including spiral stairs and large loft area. Updated lighting fixtures and furniture throughout, exactly as pictured in listing. Bonus area to hang and keep entire family’s ski/snow gear in laundry next to entry and outdoor bench/coat rack a plus. Came across a couple housekeeping items during our stay and pleased that management was quick to respond and remedy it upon being notified.

Dirty

Any dish, cup, utensil, or pots we used had to be washed. The dishwasher does not wash dishes well so we hand washed everything we used before and after. The upstairs toilet was dirty and had a pink ring in it. The house needed dusting, the pot holders had food on them, I had to clean the patio door window as it was dirty, there were about 8-10 dead flys in the corner by the patio door. The downstairs green bedspread had recent stains on it so we removed it and used blankets instead. We travel a great deal and so we rent often and this was by far the most unclean place we have ever stayed in. I have pictures if you need additional information.

Easter vacay

Beautiful condo, great location at purg. Super cute and spacious, pics do make it look a little bigger, and the stair case is super small, and could be difficult for some people to climb. Well stocked and wifi worked well. All around great space, and would stay again and recommend.

Fun decor and a great location near lifts

We spent a fun bike weekend in Purgatory and this was the perfect location. The home was comfortable with amazing views! There is a fun recent remodel giving the home the feel that you just walked onto and HGTV set for a remodel show. We found it odd there were no closets in the home (when I went to look for a broom). Although, who needs closets when you're on vacation! The multiple spaces to sleep worked well for our crew... the bunks are small for tall teens and the narrow spiral stair case will inspire you to hike a little further each day... but who's complaining... there was still room for everyone! Thanks for a great stay! We'd come back and do recommend to to others!

Look for something else if you have more than 4

Start with the positive. Great location, great view. Pretty much end of positive. The place is pretty small. It says you can sleep 7, but I can’t imagine how. I’d say any more than 4 and you won’t be comfortable. We had 2 adults and 3 kids and it was cramped. It’s pet friendly, so expected some dog hair, but the rug looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks. We went out an bought a vac and filled up 3 canisters with hair. The dresser in the bedroom (the only one the house that supposedly sleeps 7) was unusable as the sides are bowed out and the drawers fall off the slides. There is a single unit washer/dryer combo (which I didn’t know was a thing) that is also borderline worthless. Clothes never get dry. Can’t believe this thing is on the market as a viable product. A trash bag full of “clean” towels and sheets was left outside for us about halfway through our stay but they had a cigarette odor to them. The hot water went out for about 20 hours in the middle of our stay. You get charged a 4% “resort fee” but get ZERO resort amenities unless you pay an EXTRA 4% resort fee. No pool, no fitness center, nothing. That is all in the very fine print. I mentioned it felt cheap to pay $6k for a rental including a 4% resort fee and not even have access to a pool and never got a response. It’s a fine place, it’s just not for 7 people and the management company talks a good game but didn’t really deliver. I’d keep looking if I were you.

Great location

The property is located immediately adjacent to the slopes and has a beautiful view from the balcony. We were disappointed with the cleanliness standards. The spiral staircase is very small and steep, caution to anyone who is big or tall. We were not able to get our suitcases up the stairs. The owners have done a great job with the property in that it was well decorated and comfortable. We were not impressed with the management company.

Great place for new skiers

Our family of 5 (4, 11, 13) stayed 4 nights here and loved it. The unit overlooks the graduate lift which is where the bunny slopes and ski/snowboard lessons take place. We were able to see the kids in their lessons from the deck. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The unit is cozy and well decorated with plenty of seating. Easy walk to the shops, equipment rental and other amenities. Property manager was very responsive to a couple of emails we sent with questions while we were there. Would definitely stay here again.

Winter Wonderland

This condo was perfect for our annual trip to Purgatory. Great location allowed for ski in / ski out lunches back at the condo and we even had enough room to entertain friends who came out for the New Year.
