It was a wonderful stay in a historical landmark building. They spent millions on updates but it still felt like the early 1900’s

There was a gas leak across the street that prevented guests from leaving the hotel for about 7 hours. We received communication around 11AM to shelter in place for the safety of ourselves and the hotel, but there was never any communication the order was lifted. When I called to ask about status around 4PM, the desk attendant wasn't friendly in providing that she didn't have an update. I understand it was a situation out of the hotel's control, but more could have been done in terms of internal communication and accommodating guests for the inconvenience as it did have an impact on my trip. Also would have like the option to turn up the heat in my room as I was pretty cold through the night.

We so enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous historic hotel. We plan to come back. We took the train and appreciated the hotel had transportation from depot, and I sked at Sunlight and the resort bus stops there. Our meals at the hotel were delicious . This was amazing!! For the hot springs and vapor caves, everything was convienient and walking distance. Parking was never an issue, and the bus system was amazing! There was however, a gas leak, which was out of anyone’s control. This impacted our walkability to town as there is only one way to walk into town (we were told otherwise by the local firefighters). The hotel was quiet and a great historical landmark! The staff were always helpful and kind and the coffee shop downstairs is amazing!! We will definitely be back!

Amazing stay. The hotel is centrally located, the rooms are spacious and very clean. Staff is friendly and the hotel is full of history. Convenient restaurant downstairs as well. 10/10, highly recommend when staying in Glenwood.
