"Overall fantastic stay and plenty of room for everyone. Swing set and railing down by the boat lift need repair. Swing is currently broken/not safe to use and dock railing wobbly in a few spots. Minor issues but overall great value and location! Would book again with a large group."

"This was our second time staying at this property during the summer. We were very impressed with our first stay—the house was clean, nice, and comfortable. Unfortunately, our second stay was quite disappointing.First, we noticed several large, dirty spots on the carpet that looked like they may have been left by pets and had not been properly cleaned. Second, the kids’ bedroom was not clean. We found ants on the floor and even on the beds. There were also many ants on the first floor and around the front entrance.Another issue was the noise in the kids’ bedroom. The road is directly in front of the window, and the traffic noise made it very difficult to sleep comfortably. We also found a large amount of dog waste outside that my husband had to clean up. We travel with a dog as well, but we always make sure to clean up after our pet and leave the outdoor area clean for the next guests. The outdoor playground was also a concern for us because there is no fence separating it from the water. For families with small children, this does not feel particularly safe, as young children can easily run toward the water. Finally, the pool was the most disappointing part of our stay. It is quite small and was not kept clean. People were sitting and eating in the pool area, and I found popcorn and other debris under my feet while in the pool.Considering all of these issues, I believe the price should be adjusted to better reflect the condition and experience of the property."

"The house was decently clean, the pool was amazing- a lot of work was put into it to keep it clean constantly. I never had to contact the owners, as everything was easy and readily available/ accessible. The kitchen is nice. Has an ice maker, blender, toaster, and basic necessities to cook. We went to South Padre Island most of the days we were there (8) and every single day we were in the pool. The gazebo off of the pool area was a wonderful touch! My daughter got engaged at sunset in the gazebo. It was perfect. If we ever decide to return to Port Isabel, I will reach out to the owner for this house again. We had a wonderful family vacation."
