I booked this hotel for the outside pool mostly and it met my expectations, but some other things were confusing and uncomfortable. First, breakfast charges - when I booked the hotel, breakfast was supposed to be included in the price, but during check in I was notified that I had to pay for kids. Moreover, they charge you full price, with tips of course, as the breakfast is served by a waiter, then they apply the credit of amount you had paid at time of booking. However the food was good and various. The other thing is that housekeeping never showed up during our 2-day stay. Finally, they charged me more than they should have. I got my receipt almost a week later and had to spend a few hours on the phone to get things sorted.

Fantastic location, roof pool and service!

I’m from Chicago so always picky about where I stay when I come “home”. I love being so close to the lake, the rooftop pool and Michigan Ave. Front desk folks and staff were so wonderful.

The toilet never worked right. We never got the right amount of towels, always one less than we needed. The last day they left no towels. There was only one coffee cup the first day, the second day two coffee cups but one coffee packet, the last day no coffee or cups was restocked. The tv turned on randomly twice once in middle of the night while we were sleeping. This is actually a time share type location so they required wristbands to use the pool which was annoying. When we tried to call down about not having stuff the phone did not work so we had to go down to the lobby to request towels and coffee the morning of our last day. Definitely better properties available.
