Really nice place overall; one of my top choices in Chicago. However, paying more and reserving a "Superior Room" also means not being able to open the curtains because you are literally at the landing of the fire escape. And while the chance of someone being out there is incredibly low, it was still uncomfortable and meant the curtains were always closed. Also had a flickering main light, but I did not report it until I left.
