Severe unhealthy black mold, disgusting carpets, unpleasant animal smell, broken fixtures and vanities. Experienced two room moves. Where is the health department!!!! Owner should be forced to sell and LaQuinta has now been brand shamed!

Staff was a bunch of kids. Had issues with my key card several times. Had to bring it down to be reset at the lobby. Rooms were clean but the mattress was old with a big dip in the middle. Common areas of the hotel are dingy and dirty. Pool was close because someone crapped in it. Would’ve been nice to have a discount for that because I planned on cooling off as it was 100 degrees outside that day. Will not be staying here again.

It’s ok

I’m in the process of moving coming from Florida and Charolette was the half way point for me. I was traveling with my dog as well. Upon entering the hotel staff was very friendly and the lobby was nice. Getting to my room though…. The door was jammed, took several tries to get into and the room smelled like pee. I understand other folks having dogs too, but it was heavy smelling. I had to go buy an air freshener to help with the smell. Also, there was no control over the AC. It stayed on 74 and was super stuffy. The buttons wouldn’t let me adjust the temp at all. I feel like if you don’t have a pet, you may have a different experience, but even though this was affordable including the pet fee of $25, the carpets need to be cleaned or the room aired out or something. Overall, it was a safe place to lay my head though

I booked this hotel because of the price and that it had a fair amount of 10/10 Expedia reviews. I’m not sure how or why they gave it 10/10. The room wasn’t bad, but the hallway carpets were absolutely disgusting. Area didn’t seem too safe with a fair amount of homeless people around. We only stayed on night on our way south. Breakfast was ok and the coffee was good. We ate at a local beer garden that was good. Would not stay there again.

The property was really outdated and very old. The lobby and hallways were very hot and humid. Inside my room was the same, but i discovered that the heat was left on! The "breakfast " had no protein, just pancakes and waffles. The clerk at rhe front desk refused to accept my credit card because it was issed by Pay Pal. I tried to explain that it wasn't a paypal debit card, but an actual Paypal mastercard, but she still refused to take it and kept on repeating:" We don't accept Pay Pal.."

The staff was very friendly and sweet but this la Quinta needs a makeover asap. Elevators are broken and can only take you to certain floors, carpets are stained, property states it’s a strict no smoking hotel but the entire place smells like cigarettes, parking lot was trashed and littered with random clothes, etc. We did not feel safe or clean for our one night stay and will not be returning.

As someone who previously worked in the hotel industry in Saudi Arabia, where I supported my boss in overseeing the hotel properties of the Al Hokair Group across the western region, I have a good understanding of hospitality standards and operations. During my recent stay at your hotel, I couldn't help but see potential. The property itself has a lot to offer, but it would greatly benefit from a comprehensive revamp in order to attract more guests and improve overall guest experience. LaQuinta did the Job!

Arrived at this hotel for a weekend celebration and used the airport shuttle round trip. Very convenient. Took advantage of the breakfast offered as well daily. One of the elevators was not working properly and the front desk male agent reported not having access to the password for the computer in the lobby business center while there. Unable to use computer due to this problem. Don't offer a business center if you can't give your customers access.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, which made for a pleasant experience. However, the hotel would benefit from some updates and maintenance, such as interior painting, carpet replacement, elevator repairs, and improvements to the water heating system. Additionally, exterior cleaning like power washing the building and sidewalks would enhance the overall appearance.
