Did not find out until check in time that they had no water. It was 8 o'clock in the evening before we could even get a shower or brush our teeth wished we would've knew in advance. We would've booked somewhere else. We stay there often and it's usually pretty good.

Overall good experience. Stayed three nights. Breakfast was the exact same every day, scrambled eggs and sausage patties with other grab and go options. Front desk people were nice. Facility wasn’t dirty, the hot tub and pool could use a good cleaning. The hot tub also doesn’t work properly. Would stay again if I needed to.

For a reasonably priced hotel, this was good. The rooms were clean, in reasonable condition, and the beds comfortable. The breakfast had lots of choices including good waffles and above average scrambled eggs and sausage every day. Negatives: 1) My bed squeaked some each time I got in our out of bed but my kids bed didn't. Also, we stayed 4 nights and I was told would get maid service after the 3rd night which didn't happen. All we needed was clean towels as we lost track of whose was whose so I exchanged our used towels for new ones at the front desk which was no big deal. It is not like a fancy new hotel but I would stay here again given the price was reasonable. The best restaurants and things to do in Salida are in the historic downtown just a 5 minute drive away and Monarch Mountain ski area was 20 minutes the other direction, so it was perfectly located for our ski vacation.

Great place to stay for a ski vacation. Had everything we needed, property was clean and in good condition. Kids loved the pool, of course! Really liked that they had eggs and meat for breakfast, not just juice and pastries. Staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Would definitely stay again!

We were not happy with our stay. The hot tub was cold, our bathroom was dirty, our AC did not work and not to mention when we went to our room the door was not shut by housekeeping they left the lock out to keep the door open. Staff was friendly but will not return.
