The location was perfect for a week in Boston seeing all of the typical sights. We walked everywhere and took the subway to Fenway Park and the Isabella Stuart Gardner museum when we needed to.

We paid through hotels.com But then had a $35/night destination fee which I thought was a bit ridiculous. The room we had was “okay”. Bathroom door was broken and the hotel restaurant and bar was under renovation it seemed. The cost per night was steep relative to the condition of the hotel.

Great experience. Excellent service, food was outstanding (even though, they were working on a new space) and the free clam chowder was fantastic. Room was a good size, but 2 things they could work on: towels were a bit stiff and not enough towel racks in the bathroom. Great location to get to the subway.

Overall, the stat was fine but the hotel was doing some renovations and I wish we would have known this before booking. The restaurant and bar were in conference rooms instead of their normal location. The pool was unavailable altogether, which was disappointing. The room was clean but showing signs of wear.
