We really enjoyed our stay at hotel. Room is spacious and bed is very comfortable. It is central to all attractions and restaurants. We feel Boston is a walkable city. The train station is just across the street from the hotel. Would definitely recommend the Whitney Hotel as it is good value for money.

Front desk chaos

The hotel was beautiful, but check-in was a little bit problematic. They gave me a room in the basement and not the category I paid for. I paid for a double queen, and they gave me a much smaller, less expensive room. Eventually, the manager resolved the issue and gave me the category room that I booked on hotels.com. The manager said that she was unaware of the category I reserved. I had to show her the receipt from Hotel.com.

Now, my go-to Hotel in Boston

All staffs are super friendly and helpful. In overall, it’s very welcoming, boutiquey and in a nice neighborhood and T station is right front of the hotel. Our flight was late in the afternoon and they let us do a late check-out. Not sure how good the hotel would be if you are looking for a business trip and prefer to have a separate working area besides your room. However, they have a lounge setting lobby area that you can hangout. I will definitely recommend the hotel and will come back to stay in my next trips.

Classy comfortable cozy stay

Great stay at this lovely property. Everything was immaculate from the check-in area to the room. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean and the room relatively quiet. Great location at one end of Beacon Hill with shopping and restaurants. The T red line right outside the door. Highly recommended.

I like the minimalist decor and the comfort of the hotel. There was nothing I did not like, other than being told that I should not use Expedia but make reservations directly with the hotel and that despite my Expedia reservation, I would be given a nice room.. This did not make sense to me.
