Second time we have stayed there in the last 2 months. The rooms are small but very comfortable with excellent water pressure in the shower. Staff is friendly and helpful. Restaurant is quaint. Location is in the heart of DC. We, my wife and I, walked to the National Mall. Nearby Starbucks. Parking at the hotel is a bit expensive but there is a public lot nearby, less than 1/2 the price

Charming and lovely decor. Mini fridge in room (but note there isn’t kettle). Very nice staff. Very reasonable price. About 2 blocks from Mt. Vernon metro or a bit longer but nice walk to red line. Several restaurants, cafes and coffee options. Neighborhood seemed pretty quiet.

Beautiful hotel with historic and modern appeal. The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. I was able to book and specifically select the type of room with amenities that were most suitable for my needs during this stay. Thank you Vanessa for being so patient and accommodating during my booking and stay. The location of this hotel is perfect for sight seeing, dining and a rich DC experience. The only thing I didn’t care for was the limited parking options…they only offered valet parking and although I had in and out privileges, it took a very long time for them to retrieve my car when I had an engagement to attend to. Overall amazing hotel experience.

Charming historical building remodeled as a quaint hotel within 15 mins walk from the museums. Rooms are small and dated but the staff is wonderful who provided excellent service. We’re light sleepers and asked for a quiet room. Our room was on 3rd floor facing the street. First night was completely ruined from construction and police siren noise. Staff was responsive and moved us to another room for the second night. But we could still hear the police car sirens. Should’ve packed earplugs and sleep meds. Suggest that the owners consider noise proofing exterior walls and windows and adding coffee machine and smart feature on TV. Metro is great and cheap in DC. Next time, we plan to stay in the suburb, away from the noise, near a metro station.

We only stayed one night here, but we had an incredible experience. All of the staff were extremely kind and helpful. The only negative is the parking. There is no where to park around the hotel. They do have valet parking but it’s hard to find a spot to park and check in. Other than parking, INCREDIBLE experience.

One fo the Manager has a bad attitude. Even though they had the wrong check-in date due to their ineptitude, he assumed I was wrong and cursed me severely. I immediately sent that feedback to expedia, who then pressed me in the lobby to rescind the bad rating. It was very embarrassing to be talked to like a complainer. Furthermore, he didn't admit their fault until the very end and insisted that we had changed our itinerary over the phone. Even though we have proofs of check-in date. It was a very unpleasant stay, and we were afraid that we would get involved again at any time during our stay. By the way, the free breakfast coupon he gave us as compensation for canceling the bad rating was unexpectedly missing one and we had to pay for one. I was screwed...!

Highly recommend this renovated gem in a great central DC location. Staff is most accommodating as they smooth out a few timely service deliveries. Bar not staffed by time of posted opening, so had an awkward 15 minute wait. Lovely boutique experience that will be 5 Star in a few months.

Hotel was unique with an cool interior courtyard. The staff was friendly, and everything was clean. Good location with stores and restaurants nearby. I ended up walking to the Capitol from the hotel, others may opt for transportation though. As for negatives, I felt that the bed wasn't as comfortable as other hotels, and getting to the front with your car can be a hassle due to the large volume of traffic. The traffic can also cause a lot of noise with the honking, again not the hotels fault. Price was very good and everything considered I give 5/5, it exceeded what I expected for the price.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. However! When I emailed the hotel Thur or Fri inquiring about parking they sent a generic letter no individual response indicating there was parking and the price. When we arrived we were informed that the garage was full and we had to figure it out on our own. This was upsetting as we were tired from braving traffic and just wanted to relax a bit before dinner, I was in tears by the time I actually figured out parking 40 min around dc blocks circling . Otherwise the hotel was in a good location. The courtyard was lovely and there’s complimentary coffee in the morning

Nice easy check in. Friendly staff and service. We did not get to eat breakfast at the Inn but everything was wonderfully decorated. Its was also nice to read a little history about the site in our welcome binders.
