Close to capital one arena.

My husband and i chose this hotel because it was close to the Capitol one arena. We caught a hockey game during our visit, and didnt have to walk far. After checkout, we wanted to sight see a bit more. The hotel will hold your bags until you are ready to head home, or to your next destination. They also called a cab for us so we wouldnt have to walk to union station. I definitely recommend fairfield to anyone who chooses to stay in d.c.

Property was fine staff was fine. Other guests are the problem. Was in a room that had a door connecting to another room. 11:30pm adjoining guests arrive, smoke weed all night long. Which heavily encroached into our room.. However the entire neighborhood around this hotel smelled the same. I guess thats progressive policy at work

We would stay here again!

Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the location was perfect for us. The beds were softer than our preference. The free breakfast had a nice variety of options. It appeared that the paper plates, cups and plastic utensils for breakfast were put in trash. Could compostable products be used instead?

Staff at this property are friendly and very helpful. The room and bed linens are clean. The property’s flooring will need updating soon. Breakfast was fairly standard, and I really liked having the option of red or green salsa with my eggs. The location is very convenient to Capital One Arena, Chinatown, DC sights, and fabulous restaurants.

EXCELLENT

I've been looking forward to writing this. This Fairfield Inn is close to perfect. From the friendly desk lady at arrival to the surprisingly good breakfast in a very welcoming space with windows looking out to the street on two sides.. Look at my comments by the photos. This is how a hotel SHOULD BE. Each feature I photographed was in direct contrast to our experience at another name brand hotel earlier in the week right here in DC. Check out at NOON, not 11:00. Clean rooms and common areas. Friendly staff. Good breakfast on the premises. Bright and clean bath. Very quiet room. Effective temperature control. I am a retired architectural engineer. There were only two adverse observations. No teabags in the in-room coffee station and no bacon on the breakfast buffet. Bagels, eggs, and sausage, however, were very good. :)
