"When the hostess showed up finally she did offer us a nicer room. We expected a cabin and had trouble finding the place because it was like an old motel. The beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom did not have a sink. So I’d say it was adequate but I will not return."

"Outstanding cabin with great views all day long. The commercial fridge and deep freeze was perfect for our meal prep for our family of 5. The kitchen is well equipped for any meal. We grilled on the 2 burner propane grill every night off the back porch which is ideal for late afternoon or late evening dining. The AC unit worked well during the hot afternoons we experienced during our stay.(mid 80’s) I recommend bringing your own coffee maker if you have a group of heavy coffee lovers. The single serving coffee cup machine couldn’t keep up with the demand. If we weren’t at the lake we spent most of our time on the front porch. If you go to Dowdy Lake and pay 10 for a day pass, you can dump your trash in their dumpsters by the boat dock and spend a great day at the beach. We’ll be back next year."
