"Nice and quiet location. After a long day of driving, did have difficulty finding it in the dark. I was looking forward to relaxing and watching a hockey game, but the satellite wasn't working. I was only there long enough to sleep and eat breakfast that I had previously made."

"The home is super clean and comfy with high quality appliances and well stocked for general needs. The owners are super thoughtful in having things you might need on your stay and super communicative too. We had a really lovely stay. Our biggest challenge was the fact that the property is on well water, which they don't recommend drinking, so it was harder washing up veg/fruit and brushing our teeth. They did provide provide plenty of drinking water though. The kitchen sink also had low water pressure, which made washing up tricky. There is a dishwasher that works well though so it wasn't too big of a deal. The shower and tub and bathroom sinks had great water pressure too. We just didn't know we couldn't drink the tap water when we booked, which was annoying, especially since we have a toddler and were constantly washing his sippy cups and snack bowls and worried the well water might make him sick. We stayed in mid May and most of the picnic areas were closed, because it was too early in the season, and it was confusing about whether we were allowed to use the public grills on the river since the burn bans weren't posted. We also thought there might be more to do within walking distance since the river is right across the street, but all of that is privately owned with no trespassing signs so we had to drive everywhere instead. We have a king size bed at home so the 2 beds were a little small, not sure if they are both fulls or queens, but definitely not a king."
