"Great location in the heart of Newport! Harbor view was idyllic and the indoor pool was a great benefit, but the shared public/hotel parking lot left something to be desired as we were constantly nervous about getting a spot (and some folks made their own)."

"We were staying there for our son's wedding Our King room was ridiculously too small for two adults with anything more than a tote bag for luggage. The bed was 24-26' from the wall on both sides of the bed. The room did not have a closet, a chair, a dresser or desk. There was a window seat, which I guess was supposed to serve for everything else. Under the window seat were two drawers on the floor for storage. Never found the room safe that was supposed to be in one of the drawers. As we went to check out the elevator did not work. Calling the front desk we were told they were trying to figure it out. No offer of help trying to get 5 bags down the stairs. Thank fully another guest sent us to the staff elevator which took us to the garage..no help for us catching an Uber. There was no one to help us roll/carry our bags from the street where the Uber left us to the front desk or to our room. I will say the hotel is newer and clean. The lobby is nice. The staff was fine, but not overly helpful or friendly. We will not be back. The location is good. For an average of over $400 a night...it is overpriced. "

"The location is walkable to many shops, bars and restaurants. The location is on Thames so street traffic noise from cars and people coming home from a night out is something to be aware of. Off street parking is available which is a nice bonus. Communication with owner was a breeze. Some small attention to detail items would have elevated stay, such as more towels (kitchen too) and mirrors in bedrooms to get ready and allow to free up bathroom for showers. Overall positive stay. "

"Our stay at this charming bed and breakfast in Newport, Rhode Island was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, Mary, the owner, made us feel less like guests and more like family. Her warmth and genuine hospitality set the tone for the entire visit. Each morning, we were treated to Mary’s magnificent breakfasts—thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. It quickly became one of the highlights of our trip. Beyond the food, Mary’s knowledge of the area was invaluable. Her touring recommendations helped us make the most of our time in Newport, guiding us to both popular attractions and hidden gems we might have otherwise missed. The location of the bed and breakfast was incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore everything Newport has to offer. Whether we were heading out for a day of sightseeing or an evening stroll, everything felt within reach. What truly stood out, though, was the feeling of comfort and connection. Mary created an atmosphere that made it feel like we were visiting a relative’s home rather than staying at a lodging. We will absolutely be booking with Mary again. In fact, our experience was so special that we’re already looking for another opportunity to return to Newport—just so we can stay here again."
