This place is a gem in the heart of Newport. Every year, I consider staying somewhere else, but we always end up coming back here. The staff is wonderful, and the waterview rooms are unbeatable. We even extended our stay because we were having such a great time. Already looking forward to returning next year!

The property is very out dated. To use the TV in our room we had to unplug the lamp because only one socket would work. I booked through Expedia and they also charged my card for the booking after I had left, I called and said I was double charged and they apologized and said it would be refunded, 2 weeks later I had to call back again for them to actually refund me. Please everyone check your charges after staying here.

I prepaid the hotel in full before I checked. Upon my check out, they charged me another US$327 on my card. The facilities are old. The shower head has mold. The bed is too soft and totally not comfy. Totally not worth the price at all.

We attended the Newport Folk Festival and found this hotel to be perfect for food options and walking to after shows (if we can get tickets). Parking was a bit iffy since we arrived late but the attendant was very helpful in finding a spot.
