Our first trip to Newport was great! A lot to sue and very convenient with the hotels location. The room was decent, but the pillows are literally a small square pillow. Not a normal size pillow so bring your own pillows. The halls are very noisy and a lot of noise comes into the room.

One-night visit.
It was a convenient spot. Right near the Cliff Walk and another mile from the downtown waterfront. I wish our room was not facing the front street parking lot near an intersection. Somewhat noisy at times. The room was clean and comfortable, although the bathroom had no stoppers in the sink or bathtub. It was a one-night visit and adequate.

Perfect location for the marathon
We stayed for the marathon which staged the start/finish line very close to the hotel. So for that, it was perfect. It was not beach weather but I assume that during summer, you could walk to the beach. It is a very simple hotel. We were upgraded to a larger room so couldn’t check in on the app. Our room was fine. Plenty of space. It was a little noisy in the evening because our room was right behind the front desk. But the folks were great and the service was wonderful. I would stay again

Nice hotel, 5 minutes away from the Rhode Island Cliff Walk, beach and surfing by car and also close by, by car to the Newport mansions and most likely a bunch of other attractions which we didn't have time to see yet.

Heat/AC unit was falling off the wall and was so noisy. Pool and gym are in property across the street - way too cold to walk in Spring/Fall. Probably nice in the summer, but definitely not a Spring destination. A good reminder to ask for a room far away from the elevator lobby.

Had a room with a view. Spacious and clean. Hotel has indoor pool but we didn't use it. Only complaint was the noise you can hear from the corridor in the evening/night with other guests talking and doors shutting loudly. Not very sound proof.
