The checkin line was long but ran very efficiently. All staff were very kind and considerate. All told it was one of the best hotel check-ins I’ve ever had! The buffet breakfast was extensive and quite popular. Coffee took a bit long to arrive.

Very small room, paid for a city view but ended up just seeing the back view of same hotel and construction and the staff were not friendly. Very disappointed as soon as we entered the stay by looking at the cleanliness, room size and restroom. Raised our concern to the hotel staff but they didn’t clean to care about customer experience. For the amount we paid entire family had a terrible experience and would never stay there again.

The service was top class but the room was not what I expected from a 5 star Marriott. The bedroom was ok just like any hotel room the bathroom was more dated messy painting, older features grubby grout hole in the entrance wall, lamps coming off the wall in the hall Wasn’t so happy with the quality. I also paid extra per night for a premium too which was just a non construction facing room higher up still a view of not much just offices and more construction. For the price point I probably won’t stay again.

Check-in was lengthy and the staff member made several errors telling us breakfast wasn’t included but we’d paid for club lounge access. The quality of food wasn’t great for breakfast or the evening canapés. Breakfast for the general population in the lobby included omelettes made to order and pancakes etc, but this wasn’t available to us at the club lounge. We paid a lot extra, so we thought we would have some inclusions. The room was quite nice and clean but the bathroom needed a renovation.

We only stayed one night but check in and out was smooth and staff exceptional. Beds were soft like sleeping on a cloud and rooms were large and clean. The hotel is right on Pitt street and only a Short walk the train station, cruise terminal, the rocks, opera house, restaurants and anything else we could have needed, Exceptional!
