Very happy with servicing and cleanliness of the rooms. Unhappy with lack of restaurant (undergoing renovation) and difficulty finding reception to check in (also due to renovations).

Do not recommend. Room was worn out and not clean at all. It had a rank smell and the bed was way too soft for comfort. We tried running the a/c unit at night but had to turn it off due to the noise.

Parking was a bit awkward, having to leave the car a fair distance away, apart from when arriving, & when packing up to leave. Otherwise all was fine. Loved the cockatoos on the balcony railing!

Great view of the lake at Macquarie University. The campus is fantastic for walking and enjoying nature. The bed was comfortable but the room is dated and needs refurbishment. It was nevertheless comfortable for a one night stay.

Never come back again!

The toilet is weird. It's extremely high and uncomfortable. The bathing towel is smelly! The funny thing is not only one bathing towel has this problem. All your bathing towels for 3 days are the same funny smelly. The car park is a mile away from your hotel room. The hotel has no lift which means if you have a heavy luggage but the room isn't on the ground floor, you are gonna die! Overall poor experience!!!

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay. The view from the lakeside rooms is amazing, spacious and very comfortable Nice to see traditional small soap and shampoo bottles instead of the refills.Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Although not the most convenient city location, a huge shopping center is only 10min walking distance and has a Metro stop for fast access to Sydney CBD. The hotel restaurant is very affordable and can highly recommend. Free hotel parking is a big bonus
