The Darling is undeniably a beautiful and luxurious hotel — plush, moorish interiors, extremely comfortable rooms, and excellent facilities nearby. It’s in a great location and feels every bit like a premium stay. A couple of things to note: breakfast and the gym are located in different areas, which can feel a bit disjointed when you’re expecting everything under one roof. I also found that while many staff were helpful especially at reception, others in different areas of the hotel and facilities, came across as slightly stand‑offish, which made me feel a little less at ease than expected for a hotel of this calibre. That said, the comfort of the rooms and the overall quality of the property make it a strong choice. With a bit more warmth in service consistency, it could easily be a five‑star experience.

Highly Recommend The Darling!! Francesca at check in was friendly, professional and offered to take our family photo in front of the Christmas tree. The room was clean, the blinds automatically opened as we walked and we loved the pool area with the bar.
