We got in around 9AM and were able to upgrade our room from standard and get in the room right away! What a relief after 24+ hours of travel. The desk staff and concierges were all extremely helpful!

Great location - Great Service

My wife and I stayed 5 nights on a holiday in Sydney. The check in staff and concierge were very helpful and went out of their way in helping us choose destinations daily and arranging tours. The room was very clean and maintained well throughout our stay. We were overcharged once for room service but it was quickly resolved when we questioned the charge. Best of all, the location was superb; a short walk to Darling Harbor, about 15 min to the Quay, Harbor Bridge and the Opera House. Town Hall station was a quick walk. It is an expensive hotel but you get a good room, great location and service.

Wonderful sevice and gym facilities.

Pros: Quiet
I've stayed in the Swissotel before and found it to be exemplary as it was on this trip. Excellent locations, security, and service. THis is a favorite hotel chain for me.

This hotelwas not convenient in terms of layout, however the staff was efficient and friendly.

Pros: Quiet
Cons: No free Internet
The bed was more firm than I like. You have to get on 2 different elevators and walk across the lobby to access your room or leave the hotel. Cleaning service times varied significantly - mid morning to mid / late afternoon. Did not get more than 1 towel per person per day. Concierge and bellstaff were excellent. Price was affordable. View from our room was not great, understanding that the hotel is located in the heart of the city on top of a large department store.

Very Nice and Convenient

Pros: Quiet, great location
Cons: keys
I stayed here a year ago and it is a very nice hotel. It is centrally located so is quite close to all the sights for walking. It is also very close to a metro stop which I used a lot. I purchased a ticket for 7 days for $48.00 and it is also good for the bus & the ferry to the Tarongo Zoo. From the airport I took the train and it was a short walk to the hotel. The room was large enough and the bathroom was very nice. I didn't get the cheapest room or the most expensive. It was quiet and the coffee, espresso machine was nice to have. There is also a grocery store down the street called Woolworths with a liquor store next to it. The only problem was the electronic keys. We had to have ours recharged many times which is a hassle to get to your room & not be able to get in. You also have to use it in the lifts. I would stay here again because of the location and I liked the room. Try the different foods like, Kangaroo, emu and crocodile. You can get these on a pizza.

Great Spot

The location was nice, not really ideal for the 20-something vacationing on your own. The hotel is more suited for an older couple than any other demographic. Very clean and very polite staff.

The Best In Sydney

I've never traveled abroad but I lucked up with this hotel!!! The only flights that come into Sydney are early morning flights but they were able to let us check in early no problem no extra charge for another nite. The hotel is in the center of everything, walking distance to the Opera House, Hyde Park, The Tower, The Rocks Location, everything!!! The rooms were very clean & comfortable the bathroom very spacious the standard room I had came with a huge tub! They had flat screens smaller than 37 inches but still nice. I didn't eat at the one restaurant they had cause there are so many options around! The hotel is housed in a building with an apatment complex so after a certain hour you need key to enter the building, but there is hotel staff downstairs I suppose if you forget. The rooms were nice & the staff was great giving us directions & maps to get around, if it's raining ask for an umbrella, just return it. Beautiful hotel!!!!!
