This property was a perfect choice to stay to enjoy world class birding not only in Ramsey Canyon but a number of other near by locations. The home was very clean and provided all the amenities to make our stay very comfortable.

Marvelous Stay!
This home is beautifully situated right behind Ramsey Canyon but close enough to Sierra Vista town center for all the conveniences. It is perfectly central to all the events we chose (tombstone, kartchner caverns and Elgin wineries). The fire pit in the back yard made for a bit of evening enjoyment under the gorgeous starry sky. Large home with lots of room. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. The beds are comfortable though a bit firm. Ample amount of pillows. The living room couch is very comfortable. We also took advantage of the pool table and played several games. You can’t go wrong with this home.

Beautiful, serene comfort within minutes of great destinations
This beautiful home was perfectly located to acces Ramsey Canyon Nature Preserve, historic Old Bisbee, the Folklore Museum, Tombstone, the San Pedro river valley and more. It's nestled into the Huachucas in such a way I was able to watch the moon trek acroos the sky while listening to distant coyotes. I saw a variety of birds from the backyard that were delughtful, though the mourning doves particularly made me feel right back at home. A good kitchen is important for me as I must prepare much of my own food and I found the kitchen well- equipped and the general store had plenty of essentials. Be sure to check for spices to the right of the microwave. The check in and check out directions are clear and easy, making this trip free from ectra stress.

Had a lovely time in this well equipped peaceful home. Enjoyed the nearby walking trail, easy access to Ramsey Canyon. Thank you to our hosts for being attentive but not intrusive. Would highly recommend.

We used this as a "Base Camp" to see lots of the sights in the nearby area. Bisbee , Tombstone, many beautiful vistas, bird watching, and general sight-seeing. Great house and location!

Quiet Gateway, Close to Trails
The VRBO was very nicely decorated and clean. The host was very responsive. Every question we had, she answered within a few minutes. Here is just one example: we had an issue with the coffee pot and she had a new one, with coffee, at our door the next morning. This VRBO is very close to two trails: Brown Canyon trail and the Ramsey Canyon Preserve. While visiting Ramsey Canyon Preserve, we learned it is a great place to see different birds in the spring and fall. If you are looking for a place a little out of town, in a quiet neighborhood, this would be the perfect place. Lots of indoor space, great views, comfortable beds. We did not use the outdoor space. The weather did not cooperate! The reason I didn’t give this VRBO 5 stars is the welcome book. The instructions for the VRBO are in a small font, which was hard to read. The welcome book didn’t contain any information on the local trails, grocery stores or restaurant recommendations. Our host did text us that the General Dollar store down the street has just about everything one would need, and she was right. After I asked, she sent us a list of her restaurant recommendations. It would have been nice to see all this information in the welcome book. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. It is a quiet gateway, close to trails and a responsive host.
