"Arrived later than anticipated but check-in was easily pre-arranged. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious. Staff was cheerful, friendly and very helpful. The room was nice but a bit cramped with the bed occupying most of the space. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Would definitely stay again. "

"Being located on the lake, it is a beautiful place to entertain a large family (there were 17 of us). The biggest problem was arriving to find dead roaches, gnats, stink bugs and spiders that needed to be swept up before we could settle in. The amount of cobwebs in the house indicated to me that it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in a while. We reported the issues when we arrived on Monday and weren’t offered cleaning services until Wednesday afternoon. By then we had swept and wiped things down. The place is in need of maintenance. There are 3 separate living areas and the entrance to the upper level of the boat house is very cluttered. Throughout the property there are things that just simply need to be cleaned and better maintained. They advertise a hot tub, but it wasn’t functional. I have requested a refund of my cleaning deposit as well as compensation for the hot tub not being functional and have not received a response."

"Everything we wanted, privacy, the beautiful gardens, and the woods!! Since the weather was warm we really enjoyed the screened in porch! Very well appointed except I could find the iron and needed to touch up suits and dress. But popped them in the dryer for a few minutes. We can not thank you enough for a beautiful home to calm our souls. Plenty of board games too! We will be back!"
