This hotel is so nice & quiet. I am sure the view in the fall is spectacular. We were there in February and the views were nice. It is definitely a destination I would go back to stay again.

Loved it. Best place that I have stayed in years. Bed was great. Staff was amazing. Folks we met were so nice. Will come back. Go to Mully's to eat.

Beautiful resort in mountains

The Valhalla is an excellent place to relax and unwind. The hotel staff was absolutely great! The food was wonderful!! The spa was fabulous! Massage was so soothing. The only complaint that I would have is on Groupon they advertised for couples massage side by side and chocolate strawberries we didn’t receive either they only had 1 massage therapist so she could only do one at a time. I believe if they hired more massage therapist to be on staff there would be absolutely no complaints. Very clean and fabulous rooms! Not sure what happened to strawberries?

Top notch hotel

Pros: It is a significant improvement over every other hotel in Helen.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: It's about a 1 mile drive from the middle of Helen. It's part of a gated community with a guard on staff at the gate.
This is a new hotel that was built around an existing structure. I believe the main lobby was once a social club or golf course club house. They did a phenomenal job. This is a 5 star hotel that is comparable to Ritz Carlton properties. You put this hotel anywhere in the world and it would be exceptional. Putting it in Helen is unfair to the other properties. But, it is much needed and appreciated. A few things stuck out to me were: The food was simply amazing. They have a chef that knows his business. The rooms were extremely well appointed. Every room faced over a valley and had a balcony. They're all suites with fireplaces. If it fits your budget, you should stay here. Period.
