When we made the reservation, we specified 2 non-smoking rooms. The hotel has 7 or 8 floors and only the 5th floor is the smoking section. We were given 2 rooms on the 5th floor. One of the rooms had very strong smoking odor and broken A/C. I had to leave the windows open to get a some fresh air. ...

The hotel was pleasant... the location was too far from city center ( I recommend no more 2 miles from La Ramblas ). The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were out dated, floor boards were missing TV was out of date and gym was in the basement with hints of mildew or mold.

This hotel had a great location and just a block off from La Rambla Street. We were able to take a cab or walk to pretty much everywhere we wanted to go. Rooms and showers are small but manageable. Staff was very friendly and we appreciated that. Rooms were clean! Swimming pool and surrounding bar area on roof deck is small. Lobby was nice! If you want a decent hotel right in the middle of Barcelona without breaking your pockets then this is the place for you. I would stay there again.
