Bed was quite comfortable, shower had great water pressure. Location was convenient to the airport. Front desk staff was nice.

Great location for airport

Pros: Free transportation to airport. Dinner!
Cons: Instructions for room lighting. Quicker drainage for shower. Workable room safe.
Location: Close to large shopping center....very walkable distance.
Booked this room for free transport to El Prat Airport and it was well worth the price. Overall the hotel/room was clean, but could have used some deeper cleaning and attention to details (room safe did not work, complicated lighting system with no explanation, shower drained very slowly). Had a terrific dinner at restaurant in hotel....can't beat the price and the quality of the food and the service was great. Hotel staff was helpful and bi-lingual.

Swanky business hotel, Spa under construction

Pros: Decor, lighting, smell, spa shower head in room, free shuttle
Cons: Notice of construction prior to booking or stay
Location: There's a huge mall with a movie theater and a food court
The hotel fira congress is a massive business hotel, located about 15 minutes from the airport. The hotel itself smells amazing and the decor is trendy and peaceful. The rooms are well lit, with a variation of light options and the overall feng shui of the room was pleasing. My only con of this hotel was that the spa was under construction at the time of our stay, which was unfortunate because this was our last day in Spain and we were looking forward to relaxing in a pool before an 8 hour flight. To add insult, my reservation claimed a spa credit, which the front staff knew nothing about and therefor I was left to wonder where that may have gone? Our only option was the gym, which was about the size of our room. I only wish the staff could have turned that spa credit into something else, since we were unable to go.

Hotel for a stay

Pros: Price
Cons: Beds
Location: Shopping mall, transportation to the Rambla for shopping and restaurant.
Close to the airport, near a shopping mall, good price.

very stark looking

Pros: Quiet
Cons: Nothing close
it was extremely modern but without comfort. bare floors with beds sliding across the room and very poor lighting. the view however was very nice overlooking Olympic stadium. the restaurant on site was extremely expensive and the food was not very good. the area for elite members was closed when we arrived and never did get to use the area

Very well appointed room; but the location of the hotel was "out there"; no coffee shops or supermarkets nearby. The metro is very close. I thought when I purchased the room that it was based on double occupancy. When I got to check-in, I was charged 30 euros extra for my husband. Not such a great deal after all. Shuttle to airport was excellent.
