Hotel Los Lagos Spa & Resort
"LOVED this hotel for our family. It is gorgeous and lush. The pool and hot springs were wonderful and we loved having lots of options. The waterslide is crazy fast but lots of fun. Food is a little on the expensive side as you'd probably expect, but lots of great options. The breakfast buffet had lots to choose from. There was a sloth in the tree at the bottom of the driveway which was an extra fun surprise. We also saw an iguana, lizards, tons of toucans and other birds. I read reviews that said it was nice but dated, which was not my experience. We had a superior room with two trundle beds and it was very large, clean and modern. Our balcony had an amazing view of the volcano. It is a big resort with shuttles to get to the furthest rooms. I requested one close to the office and pools and that was a great choice. Rooms and cottages further away might be quieter but we appreciated the short walk to everything. 100% would recommend."
