I rented the room because I was leaving the next day from the SJO. The room had a bit of must smell when I walked in. Not sure if it was the carpet or if the room just need a revamp to it (bit older hotel). I tried to connect to the WiFi which did not work. If you need it for a quick one day stay like I did it is fine but I would not stay longer than that.

Nice hotel, but rather noisy

Very nice staff and the rooms are comfortable, but due to the hotel's location right next to a very busy street, be aware that there is a lot of traffic noise. We tried moving rooms but it only helped a little. I had to wear ear plugs the second night to get a decent night's sleep. If they double glazed the windows it would likely help dampen the noise quite a bit. Otherwise, a very nice hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. Bathtubs could use updating.

Good Experience

I think you get your money's worth. You can arrange an airport transfer - free of charge by contacting the Hotel - which I though was great. It was my first time in the county, so I was a little worried about our security. When we arrived there was a man standing outside with my name - I really liked that. The rooms are nice. They're not too big but good enough to spend the night. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. I would definitely stay there again.

look around for another hotel if going on vacation

okay here is the real deal , this hotel is really not for a vaction is is far away from just about everything. the staff was not helpful some friendly other not so friendly manly at the front desk,. this hotel is for conventions. could not get to the pool for meetings just about everyday
