Yes this is a touristy area. But you go tell the sea lions, gulls and fishermen that. They dont care! Easy ubers, trolly, waterfront walking and up the hill from here is not horrible.

The hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is old of course but since it was so clean, it didn't matter. It is definitely very loud at night and I thankfully had ear plugs.

Stay away. Lobby is nice but the rooms don’t match. The worst part is the service and rudeness of the staff. Impossible to get help or speak to management. I’ve traveled internationally and have never had this much trouble with an establishment.

"I have been waiting for this pool to open for nearly a year. Keep bringing a bath suit bc they say it’s either open or will be open by the 3/6. Didn’t happen. No snacks and restaurants close early in the area. Also restaurants are extremely expensive. "
