You get what you pay for.

It's convenient when on a budget and it's easy walking distance( about a mile or so) to Universal Studios. About $6 if you use lyft and $13 for lyft to Disney World. It is also close to places to eat and Walgreens. The AC works nice. The beds are really hard though, but good enough after a busy day at the theme parks. They are strict with their 4pm check ins though even if you are there at 3pm they will make you wait till 4 even if the room is Ready. The staff are nice but you can really tell that English is not their first language, because we let them know our room did not have a shower curtain and they struggled with trying to understand what that was in English. But was able to show them and they gave us a curtain. Overall if you are on a budget trip I recommend it, but if you have issues with a hard bed then spend the money for a more comfortable place.

You get what you pay for!

Pros: The air conditioning and it's close proximity to attractions.
Cons: It's a long list as to what I described, but the safety issues with the elevator and the security of some of the entrance/exit doors should be fixed.
Location: Satisfactory.
The arrival: The beds were imbalanced with worn out mattresses; the refrigerator wasn't working, it must just be for show; the linen was shabby; house keeping decided to take a day off from doing my room; within the first twenty minutes of my arrival, one of the housekeeping staff failed to knock and barged into my room; there were no pamphlets available about the hotel features or nearby attractions in the area; I called for a wakeup call for the next day and never received one; most of the ice machines were inoperable and had to go a couple of flights up the stairs to get some; most of the laundry facilities were out of order; and finally, the elevator on the far wing of the hotel rumbles and jams a bit, I thought I was going to get stuck.

Decent hotel with a great location.

Pros: Location and the price
Cons: It's a bit old and could use a few upgrades, but for the price can't complain. The rooms are clean and the rooms are big enough.
Location: Cool little shops, amusement parks, restaurants, and bus stops and freeway is easy to get on and off.
Located towards the end of international drive and good rates/prices. Walking distance to lots of fun little amusement parks, arcades, indoor go-kart racing, Hulk Hogan's Beach Shop store, and fun little gift shops, close to the freeway on-ramps and the street also has bus stops for easy travel with or without a car.

Clean but old - ok for the price

Pros: Clean
Cons: New towels and mattresses, attention to detail, clean up the grounds.
Location: Very good to great location.
Internet was intermittent, one bed was terrible, the other ok, no iron in room (they advertise there is), power outlet in bathroom did not work, power outlet by microwave didn't work, towels were old and rough.

"Should have closed along with Wet and Wild"

First night was horrible! The room I was in was 327. The bed had no box spring and the mattress was hard as the floor. I should have slept on the floor instead. The room smelled like pot 24/7. The bed frame was actually made out it wooden plywood from a hardware store and wooden scrap pieces for legs. The pillow was small for a child and felt like someone took a bunch of stuff bed sheets and cramped it into one pillow sheet. The next morning I went out and came back mid afternoon to finding out the after the maids cleaned up somewhat, they broke the bathroom light. It was working a few hours before I left the room. After complaining about the room, the staff who don't seem to pay attention to anything that's going on, sent me to room 322 where the A/C hardly worked, the tv didn't worked at all. The maid service came and said she was going to fix it, she never did. I figured that was to much of a hopeful wish. It was still broken till I left. It probably still is. The hallways and rooms smelled musty and mildewy. Your key card hardly work to get in the building and room. The room doors where poorly made and sometimes hardly closed unless you slammed it shut. If you are looking for as cheap hotel don't go here for GOD SAKES! Your Better off sleeping in a car. I had left there with migraines everyday and lack of sleep because of being so uncomfortable in the room. I understand you can't always what you want, but I seen better motels with good service and rooms.

You get what you paid for

Hotel is in a prime location. Located very close to Universal Studios and a 24 hour Walgreens. Aside from that, the hotel room was a below average experience. my expectation was low for a $60 a night hotel, however certain things put me off. -The towels they probide for the bathroom are stained and full of hair. This was the case for each day (5 days total). -The hotel room floor is covered in paint chips from the recent renovation. -The mattress is stiff, and rest on a piece of plywood. Pillows are flat too. -The hallways on both levels of the hotel smelt like weed. -The door handle to the room gets stuck and is sometimes hard to open. Overall the hotel gives a sketchy vibe. The light up sign is very dim from the street. Taxi drivers have a hard time locating the entrance because of how dim the light is at night. The most positive attribute is the free shuttle bus to the parks. Arrives on time, everyday.

Pretty Nice Hotel

A nice hotel within walking distance to Universal Studios (less than a mile) that also provides a shuttle. I liked the heated pool. The only problem is that the WiFi was spotty.

You get what you pay for

Pros: The location and the swimming pool.
Cons: The beds need more comfortable mattresses and bigger pillows. The carpeting needs to be replaced and the furniture could use some updating.
Location: The locations is convenient to Sea World and Universal Studios. There are plenty of eateries nearby such as Applebees, I Hop, and Chili's.
My daughter and I booked this trip on the spur of the moment and the price was pretty reasonable. I realized why when I saw our room. The furniture is really cheap stuff, nothing fancy. The bed was hard and I didn't sleep the 4 nights we were there. As a matter of fact, I got a bad back ache and had a hard time to walk when I first got up. The ;pillows are small and not comfortable at all. They had a safe in the closet, but I couldn't use it because there was no key. I complained to the front desk and they said they would let the manager know, but no one did anything. My daughter didn't want to walk barefoot on the rug, because it didn't look clean. It was vacuumed, but that didn't make it look any better. Next time I would pay a little more money and stay at a better hotel.

Very Disappointing, False Advertising

We did not have very high expectations of the hotel going into it, and booked mainly because of the close proximity to Universal Studios and a discounted rate. However, it was well below our already low expectations. Upon our arrival, we were given keys that did not work to a room that sounded like someone was showering inside (a night later you could still hear running water when you walked past). I discovered that there were no ice machines located on our floor despite the posted signs, and had to go down a floor and around the building to find one. It was advertised has having complimentary local and theme park shuttle, which was a large factor in our booking. Unfortunately, the theme park shuttle will not take you to Universal until after noon and the last pick-up time is before the park closes. I inquired about a ride using the local shuttle for our car rental the next morning, and was informed that they didn't have one (thankfully our rental company did). Don't waste your time and money with this hotel. It was by far the worse hotel experience I have ever had. The staff isn't very helpful and gives you annoyed looks when you bring up concerns such as keys not working or the lack of an advertised shuttle. Spend the extra money to go somewhere else, or book a cheaper hotel without a shuttle and take a cab. Less of a headache than this place.
