Nice hotel in Orlando downtown

Pros: Stuff friendliness, comfortable rooms, good breakfast, shuttle service
Cons: The carpet in the corridor might be replaced somewhere
Location: The location is reasonably close to main attractions. Loved lake Eola area. Nice place to relax
I really enjoyed my staying in this hotel. Starting from warm welcome at check in everybody was friendly and ready to help in any possibly way. The room was big and comfortable with small Kitchenette. Loved the bed and a sofa bed in a room. And the coffee machine was a nice touch too. Surprisingly good selection at the breakfast with good quality of food. Shuttle service was well organized and very helpful. Will definitely stay here again!

Centrally located with best staff

Pros: See above.
My goal was to stay well away from the Disney part of town and experience real Orlando. Mission accomplished. We walked to Orlando's Church Street Station entertainment district a couple of times, but we also walked around Lake Eola, enjoyed an authentic Italian dinner at Il Pescatore, drove a short hour over to Cocoa Beach and just lounged by the pool, cocktails in hand. What makes this hotel stand out the most is this impeccable staff. To a person, they were friendly and efficient. Two notes: Parking is $17 a night (gulp) and it is located directly adjacent to the Salvation Army's homeless services operation, but we experienced zero issues with that. I even walked around the park across the street from there and wasn't asked for money.

Disappointing at Best

At check-in no one asked to help with our bags. On way to room all interior corridors had a very bad odor. We got to our room and it was nice and fresh with none of the odors of the hallway. we tried to order room service, but the phone didn't work so we couldn't. The TV only picked up the local hotel preview channel. Tried to order in room breakfast but once again phone didn't work so we placed the placard on door handle: of coursed it wasn't retrieved. The room was nice but everything else was completely disappointing. At check-out, the young lady said she would " zero out" my account. I'm not sure what that will mean with a pre-paid room.

Great staff!!

Stayed here for one night. For some reason when we got back the the room around 11:30 p.m. we could not get the door open. It took a while but the staff went above and beyond. The night security guy (big guy) was awesome. The night manger was also awesome. And Junior the head engineer was also awesome!! Thanks!!

Nice hotel downtown orlando

The hotel was beautiful inside. Very nice staff and great chef. Best omelette I've ever tasted. However you must PAY FOR PARKING. Almost $20 to self park, horrible. And the entrance and exit to the parking lot is horrible, no space to walk with luggage and a baby stroller. No side walk any all.

Terrible Experience

Since I booked through a third party the hotel said my reservation for 2 queen beds was not honored and subject to availability. The room was dirty and there was a surprised fee of $15 per day for parking. Never staying there again. I recommended to a friend and she had a bad experience also and she did not get her 2 queen bed reservation either.

Good Location

Good location but prices were outragious. $15.00 to park - $18.00 for valet parking. Four small drinks at the bar - over $40.00
