I’ve always stayed at Sheraton Princes Kaiulani every time I go to Oahu. It’s like home to me. However staff doesn’t recognize this. As a valued and repeat customer I asked to be upgraded this last stay to a nice room with a better ocean view. My reservation did call for an ocean view but I was hoping for a fantastic vie on a higher floor like 20th floor or above. Nope I did not. I was placed on the 10th floor corner where I had buildings in front of me and just a peek of the ocean between them. Not a good way of taking care of valued and loyal Marriott Bonvoy member.

We have been to Hawaii 3 times in the last 2 years, and this resort was the best. Sheraton Princess Kaiulani is at the center of Waikiki, beach shopping, and dining, and it was the best price. We will stay here again.

I had a fantastic stay at Sheraton princess Kaiulani! The hotel was spotless, and cleanliness was clearly a top priority. The customer service was excellent—every staff member was friendly, helpful, and made sure my stay was comfortable. The location is unbeatable! It’s just a 2-minute walk to the beach, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. Plus, it’s conveniently close to all the stores and restaurants, so everything I needed was within walking distance. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a clean, well-located, and welcoming place to stay. I’ll definitely be back!

The decor is dated in the room we were in. I was told that we were given an upgrade when we got there, but that didn’t happen. We had the view of the parking lot, which I was not aware of. The staff at the bar by the pool area was unfriendly and not very courteous. I probably won’t stay there again.

Great location. Walkable to beach and tons of shops and restaurants. This is an older hotel. While there have been some upgrades, the 'bones' are still dated. Doors and doorframes in rooms are layered with coats of paint reminiscent of a a rental property that gets a standard coat of paint after each new renter. However service is great. Main property areas are clean and staff is attentative from the front desk to the pool deck and beyond. Poolside area is perfect for spending day or relaxing after a day of being out. Wish the pool would be slightly more family friendly (no pool toys or such allowed) and open later but understand that would be distraction for people eating in the poolside restaurant.

This is our third stay at Princess Kaiulani. The location is unbeatable. We did notice the mugs and glasses are now paper and plastic cups, which is not environmental friendly. There was always a long wait at the lifts due to construction. Parking was easy although it cost a hefty $45 per day. We enjoyed the cultural activities and fish feeding. We have fond memories of this hotel and will come back again.

Excellent hotel with two exceptions. First, the beds were too soft, providing only minimal support. And second, was the noise. Omg, we chose a room facing the city because we were told that rooms facing Kalakaua were noisy from the street. But there were numerous roof-top air conditioners across from our city facing side producing noise 24/7.

We chose this hotel because of its central location in Waikiki. Restaurants, shopping and the beach are steps away. The rooms are updated and comfortable. Breakfast was great. We spent time at the pool which is not heated and was very cold but manageable. We would have ordered drinks and food if someone would have offered it. When we decided to stay an extra night the front desk was helpful and able to keep us in the same room.
