This 5 star rating is a JOKE: We’ll never forget the experience my wife had to endure at this God awful establishment. Absolutely an eye opening experience of racism. As A white man I’ve been ignorant in believing that quality service and money was color blind and you get what you pay for no matter what color, gender or creed you may be. That was not the case at the Windsor Court. We choose this tired and dusty place for a relaxing weekend getaway with my beautiful wife who happens to be black. The idea was I’d watch some college football while my wife laid out by the pool. Little did I know that my wife would have to sit on the molded chair for over an hour without ever being approached by the staff. Staff of approx. 4 plus 1 manager and a total of roughly 12 guests (3 groups) in the pool area, all the staff were white besides 1 Hispanic. All the groups had been brought seat covers and towels immediately upon arrival besides my wife the only minority guest. All of the groups had been checked on and served multiple times. My wife was not approached for over an hour. She approached them and asked if she was suppose to check in or some thing, not wanting to believe she was deliberately over looked. To her surprise the staffer pointed at a sign that clearly stated “Due to COVID we ask that you NOT approach us but sit and wait to be approached to avoid lines etc.... Superb in every way. There for a romantic getaway and the suite was large and elegant. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and discrete. Dining and room service really good too. Expensive and worth it.

careless, careless

Unfortunately, when I reserved my premium suite through Travelocity, I saw the two queen beds in the picture for that selection, and clicked on it. It turns out that the picture of two queen bed was matched up with a king bed room The hotel was out of double queens, so I ended up sleeping on a foldout cot in my premium suite while my teenage daughter took the king bed. Moral to this story: don't book hotels through Travelocity.

A true gem...

It was great to be back at the Windsor Court.....a wonderful graceful place in the heart of downtown yet a bit off the beaten track. Superior staff & facilities. Rated 4 Stars, should probably be 5. Looking forward to our next visit to the Big Easy so we can return.

Very Very Poor Customer Service/ Glorified Marriott

Cons: poor housekeeping, kicked off the internet repeatedly, room locks in poor working condition, unannounced staff intrusion, very poor customer service
Let me start by saying I was underwhelmed. I just came back from the Mandarin Oriental NYC, and Ritz Carlton West Palm Beach. My travels also include stays at Four Seasons Costa Rica and Las Ventanas in Cabos to name a few. So perhaps I expected too much. Alas, it was a American Express property so I didn't think it would be as bad as it was. The housekeeping service was minimal, there was never any staff answering the phones after 11pm. I had to call for basic items repeatedly which never appeared.At one point I actually expected them to just leave the cleaning supplies for me to use. The lock on the room door broke several times. At one point we were locked out of our room several times for long periods of time. The worst part of the stay was when a male staff walked in on our room unannounced to replace two bottles of water. All of our concerns were brought to Kyle the "manager" ( I use that term loosely), who promised a resolution. We never heard back from him during the rest of our stay. The ONLY redeeming quality was the club level. That is the one place that felt five star. As for the rest of the hotel it had a glorified Marriott feel. We will be staying at the Ritz when we return. Centurion will definitely hear about our experience with his property and so will Kenneth C. They may want to reconsider this an American Express property, as it does not live up to the standards. For those who are accustomed to average this is the place for you, for the others with a more discerning palate, DO NOT STAY HERE! There is no need to accept mediocrity. Good luck staying an Amex property!!!!

Great hotel, finest in New Orleans

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
Discovered this place by accident and we were glad we did. We have three children and were taking a cruise out of New Orleans and wanted to be outside the quarter, but within walking distance of it. Quiet, clean, and spacious room that we hated to leave for a cruise cabin the next day. We usually go to New Orleans twice a year and we will stay here each time.
