Overall, a nice hotel. We had upgraded the room and thought it would be a little bit larger and had a balcony. The room was small and the balcony was not very big. Our air conditioner was running non stop and we froze for 3 nights. Coffee maker in room had to be replaced. Also the water in bathroom was not hot. Food in the restaurant was too exotic.

Perfect French Quarter stay
Our stay was perfect at Bienville House! The service was superb and very professional and accommodating! From the moment we set foot on the property we were immediately greeted and taken care of. Our car was parked valet and bags were brought to our room. The front desk concierge staff were all very friendly. The beds are super comfortable and the room has the perfect French Quarter elegance. We didn’t use the pool but it was beautiful and we noticed a decent amount of people enjoying it during their stay. The place is also excellently located! We would highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!

Stay at this property for an okay room if you’re going to be outside most of your trip. Our room faced the street and was the most noise we have ever heard in a hotel room. For a boutique property they could have been a bit more warm and welcoming. If you’re looking for the Hotel Monteleone experience just stay there. This sister property falls short in every way.

A real boutique experience
Amazing experience. Clean, comfortable, and exceptional staff. Families with small children might not appreciate the boutique experience, but excellent for couples or adults with older teens. Right in the French Quarter with walking access to all that area has to offer. Historic feel and charm. The bed was very comfortable. We would stay here again if we go back to New Orleans

Very nice hotel within walking distance to all the touristy things in NOLA. Some updating is needed, and if you're looking for quiet this will not be your spot because it is located in the heart of it all and noisy by nature. But, we enjoyed the location and the front desk staff could not have been friendlier.
