The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the location was perfect to visit New Orleans. It was walkable to most areas and places around the city. I would stay there again.

Let's start with the good. The beds were extremely comfortable, never slept better in a hotel. The staff were very courteous and helpful thank you to all the staff. The bad, stayed for 3 nights, room was never cleaned, no garbage was emptied , coffee not restocked, no fresh towels, very disappointed with that! Don't expect the bar to be open past 10:00, there was no breakfast at all , it is a fair distance away from Bourbon Street which isn't too bad of an idea except walking back at night and all the homeless that you have to step over, we will stay closer to Bourbon next time.

Check in was good because the front desk person told us that the room that Travelocity offered for an upgrade (with an extra charge) would not accommodate the three of us.. she gave us another room but when we got to the room, none of our keys worked. The clerk then told us after she tried the keys and they did not work for her.. to take the room next door. I was very surprised and disappointed that a hotel that has a sign advertising that it’s a historical hotel had tattered and ripped carpeting.. not very appealing. The next day one of the keys stopped working for the room. The lady at check out seemed a bit confused with the process and I was a little discouraged by her comments as she was trying to re-explain the upgrade. I especially did not like her incorrect comment that I paid for only two people in the room and there were three of us. Incorrect and an embarrassing moment in front of my adult grandchildren as I paid for the trip. This was not true either. The location was good, but I believe there are better choices in the area. I would not stay there again.

I was really disappointed with my stay. Check-in was at 4pm, which is exactly when I arrived, but my room was not ready. I was told there were still eight rooms to be cleaned ahead of mine, which completely threw off my evening plans since I had somewhere to be at 5:30. On top of that, check-out was just as frustrating. I called for my car from valet and it took over an hour. In the end, I actually had to walk with the lobby staff to get it myself, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel of this level. Overall, the delays and lack of organization ruined my experience. Definitely not the level of service I expected.

Loved our stay

This hotel was so beautiful. We had an event at house of blues and this hotel is directly across the street. The staff were so kind, hotel is easy to get in and out of. Parking is very easy. Hotel was very quiet and the room was huge. Cynthia at the front desk remembered us by name when we checked out, which meant a lot. Parking attendants were kind and attentive. Would definitely stay here again.
