Everything was great and updated the only thing missing is Furniture in the rooms there was no place to unpack your bags and put your clothes and maybe a danish or two in the morning would be a nice touch.

However, I do apologize for the few issues you experienced. Unfortunately, we no longer have bathtubs inside our rooms and we are looking to add newer furniture to the rooms. Again, I do apologize for this inconvenience and perhaps in the future you can give us another try when you are visiting the city again.

The location of this property was ideal, as you are only a few blocks away from the lively streets in the French Quarter. However, the facility itself can be extremely noisy. We were unable to sleep each night and needed to wear ear plugs during our entire stay. We put in multiple noise complaints during late hours of the night, but there wasn't much the staff could do. If you plan on staying at this property, expect to hear everything going on around you. That includes: people talking, walking, showering, alarm clocks ringing for hours, the ice machine, the television, the elevator dinging every few minutes, and cars/trucks driving alongside the streets. You will not be able to sleep though the night without earplugs, which we learned after our first night here. Unfortunately, the restaurant attached to the hotel was also closed several nights due to electrical issues in the kitchen. That was an inconvenience for us as well. The property/room was clean, but could use a few updates/replacements in certain areas.

As this is an older building the challenge thus far has been more that we realized. But, I assure you that we are working to prevent this issue from continuing to be a problem. Perhaps in the future if you are planning to visit the city again you can give us a second chance to make your next stay even better!

Dear Valued Guest, thank you so much for your feedback! All of our rooms were recently renovated to maintain that unique southern charm, but still refreshed and new! Unfortunately, some of the bathrooms will be a little smaller than others. It all depends on what room type you booked and the availability on the day of your arrival as all of our rooms are unique and have different layouts. And depending on what days you booked for, the price does go up on weekends and around special events like Mardi Gras and French Quarter Fest. We do hope that you enjoyed your stay with us and that you keep us in mind if you are ever in the Big Easy again!
