The staff were easygoing and provided convenient coffee and water in the lobby, but the overall experience was lackluster. The hotel’s cleanliness was a major issue, particularly the dirty carpets in the hallways and the damaged, dusty drawers in the room. While the room itself was basic and reasonably priced, the bed was uncomfortable and sagged in the middle, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The shower lacked water pressure, and the shampoo and conditioner were combined into one low-quality product.
Service was inconsistent; I requested a birthday amenity for our arrival, but it was missing until I followed up with the front desk. Even then, the delivery was poorly prepared, as we received one champagne glass and one wine glass instead of a proper set. Additionally, most of the staff lacked local knowledge, though one employee was helpful in booking a tour. The elevator was cramped, slow, and noisy, feeling potentially unsafe, which forced us to use the stairs for the remainder of our stay. While the room was air-conditioned and featured a nice-sized TV, the general lack of maintenance and poor service standards made for a subpar experience. You get what you pay for, but I would recommend looking elsewhere.
