The property is clean and close to Broadway. We stayed for 2 nights (May 1-3). Our problem began in February when we had to change one of our dates. The host changed the dates for us and never notified us of a change in price. If I had known the price changed (increased almost 500) in February, I could have cancelled my reservation with no penalty and reserved something more in our price range. Since there was no notification of a price change from either Vrbo or the host, I found out when the second payment was charged to my account at the end of April. At this point, all I could do was continue with the reservation. When we arrived, checking in was easy. The listing did advertise a pull-out couch that was non-existant. We had people in our party who were planning to use the pull-out couch, so we had to find them somewhere else to stay at the last minute. Additionally, when someone sat on another bed, it collapsed. This further reduced our places to sleep on the first night. The host brought in roll away beds the next day and fixed the collapsed bed. Since our stay was only 2 nights, it was a case of "too little, too late." When I returned home, I called Vrbo about these issues. It seemed that the resolution was that the host would refund the extra that was charged when I changed the date, since I was never notified of a price increase. However, as of today, I have not received any refund from the host even though the host messaged me on 5/6 that I would.
