The hotel is an older building but seemed pretty well kept. The penthouse room had plenty of space and a separate sitting area where the balcony would typically be. There are no windows or doors that open up to the outside just full window. The front desk was very up-front with us about that at check-in and offered to carry us up to look at the room before committing to it since it did not open up to the outside. The fireplace separating the living area and bedroom is just for looks(not gas,elec.).

The property was rt on the beach and is smaller than the huge hotels surrounding. The rooms walls, base boards,wood work definitely need to be painted and a deep cleaning. It did not appear the room was vacuumed as there were crumbs, dirt on the floor. There were leftover coffee grinds still in coffee maker. All the caulking in bathroom needs to be redone as well. Again, nice spot and small hotel could be really nice if just some basic TLC with painting and caulk but comes across not well maintained. Outdoor pool looked nice and was heated but did not use. Could be loud in season though as beachfront rooms rt over the pool area...Only 30-40 rooms so def could improve overall appearance. Would stay again.

Beverley Beach
This hotel is located in a lovey location. If you want a smaller hotel (with not too many amenities) that is right on the beach, this is it. Our room opened up to the pool with the beach just past that. The location with a reasonable rate made up for any other shortcomings.
