The location to the wharf and downtown was only good thing. It’s on a busy street and rooms face loud traffic noises 24 hrs. No mention of a $40 per day parking fee, no pool, no gym, no food. TV was analog, room was somewhat dirty. Parking was ridiculous with double parking in entrance and exit lanes. The room door did not close tightly; could see light coming through. Picture on Travelocity was very misleading. Facility was not maintained, dirty exterior walls and was very old. Needs total update for the cost of rooms - $725 for 2 nights with multiple local taxes, parking and occupancy charge. Will not recommend or go back

All of the Hotels Standard Jr Suites face the business street where traffic is busiest. Certainly, if guest services had been made aware of any noise sensitivity requiring a possible upgrade of rooms at the time of check in; one of our team members would have been happy to assist you in resolving them. Cute hotel, close to the wharf and downtown, rooms are big with a big bathroom. The room wasn’t the cleanest and the couch was old and a little broken. Also a baby seagull died on the roof of our room (very close to the door) we called the front desk and they never removed it.

This property is beautiful. I've stayed here 4 or more times over the years. It is a good value because the rooms are suites and are very large (no comparison to the hotel rooms offered in the area), with a very nice living room area, large fireplace, beautiful windows, a patio or balcony, and "kitchen area" with glass round table, refrigerator, microwave, coffeepot; ours also had a sink. The bathroom is very large with a large tub, sink and large counter in one area, and a large shower and toilet in a room that can be closed off from the rest of the bathroom. Everything was bright, clean, and looked freshly painted. The continental breakfast has no hot foods, but is very nice, with fresh melons, pineapple (as well as oranges, bananas, and apples), hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, an assortment of breads, muffins, and cereals, juice, hot beverages, etc. It is in a large room above the lobby, with a fireplace, t.v. and lots of seating. On the grounds are a couple large courtyards, with fountains, tables, and chairs. Parking is in a covered garage on the lower level ($20 a day which is very comparable to other hotels in the area). The property itself is centrally located, a short walk to Fisherman's Wharf, the Coast Guard pier, and walking distance to Cannery Row, the Aquarium, and downtown. I highly recommend staying there. My husband and I have never been disappointed and are very reluctant to go anywhere else.
