"Dirty bathtub, very loud train passing by every 20-30 minutes. Ended up not staying there, got a room at a different hotel. Disappointing because this hotel was much closer to the event we were attending."

"La Casa Del Camino is a historic hotel (built in 1929) and it has plenty of character. The best feature is not the building but the staff - they really cared about us and spent the time to talk with us and to make us feel like family. The other reason to stay here is that the hotel is right above a secluded beach with beautiful rock formations that few people go to. It feels like a private island getaway. The location is near some nice cafes and restaurants, and a 15 to 20 minute walk to Main Beach and downtown. Our room had a partial ocean view. The room was clean and well decorated, we liked the style of the furnishings. Plumbing was a bit old (fixtures had significant calcium deposits, and the bathroom faucet was a bit drippy). Overall this is a pleasant place to stay if you want to spend time relaxing on the beach and exploring Laguna Beach."

"Looks appealing in photos but the reality is, it’s not. It’s right off the freeway with loud noise. The rooms are so tiny. I had “deluxe room with balcony” and it was smaller than any room I’ve stayed. You layout your suitcase and then you have no room to walk. The tv sits adjacent to the bed. There is so much furniture in the room you stub your toe. The bathroom has no fan. The sink has minimal lighting and no counter space. There was a lady smoking literal crack in the parking lot."
