"The en-suite toilet was dirty, with visible feces stuck to the inside of the bowl. This left us questioning whether the other touch surfaces, shower and tub floor, faucets, and other areas had been properly sanitized. We found cleaning supplies and ultimately cleaned those areas ourselves.Otherwise, the floors and kitchen appeared clean. There were, however, abundant cobwebs around the vaulted ceiling areas, and one of the picture windows had noticeable handprints all over it. The large “Lord’s Prayer” displayed in the dining area was also not to our taste.That said, we came primarily for the beach, and the location did not disappoint. Direct beach access is right across the street, with a beautiful sandy beach just a short walk away. We enjoyed beautiful ocean views from the deck lounge chairs while having morning coffee and tea, and ended the day with an evening cocktail while watching the sunset.Overall, despite the housekeeping issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the location. Would I stay here again? Most definitely."

"Cute hotel, room was much larger than expected (hadn’t looked at any photos ahead of booking). Room was clean. Location was great, walking distance to beach and restaurants. Staff friendly. My only complaint is that the pillow was too firm for my preference. I would stay there again. *As we were waiting to check in another couple was at the desk complaining “they got the worst room in the place” (idk what room number) and were being moved to a new room. We were in room S10 and it was perfectly fine."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was just as precious Cottage in the woods right by the beach exactly what we wanted. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Great kitchen, great amenities and beautifully decorated. The team was very responsive and communicated everything so well no guess work here."

"One of the nicest rentals we've ever stayed in. Beautiful cottage, with extremely comfortable beds and great showers. The nearby beach felt private. The charming town of Manzanita was perfectly situated, near hiking and Canon Beach, but less crowded and more relaxed. Perfect for our first trip to the coast."
