Not my best pick!

What this place has going for it is location. The front desk and housekeeping folks we dealt with were professional and pleasant. The downside is that the facility is very dated. Although the room was indeed clean, which is a biggie, the need for maintenance is very visible. Peeling paint and wallboard in bathroom near toilet/tub. Shower curtain with completely torn out hole that slides onto bar. Face of dresser drawer that came off when we tried to open drawer. For the price I was expecting a bit more. The breakfast is adequate but they refer to it as “grab and go” because there are about 6 tables for a pretty large inn. Grab and go where with your pancakes, eggs, sausages, etc. the end of your bed? They did have yummy cookies at 6:00 each evening in the lobby which was a hit with my grandsons for sure! I would choose a different hotel next time around.

Great location for the price

It was good! There were signs saying excuse the dust while we renovate but we didn’t notice anything that was anywhere near inconvenient. Okay breakfast and delicious evening cookies. Right on the water and gorgeous views. They gave us a pack n play I requested which was much appreciated, I just wished it came with extra sheets by time we wanted to use it was too late with both the kids asleep.

The property is amazing! Stayed here for about 3 nights and all nights I couldn’t get enough of it. First, the room was clean, charming and had an amazing view of the ocean. Although I only paid for a partial view, it seemed like I got a complete view and I couldn’t have been more happy. It was very clean and quiet and while I thought having no AC would be a problem, it surprisingly wasn’t. They provided a portable fan but the main AC came from opening the window which I thought was a nice touch. The breakfast was amazing, they had sausage, egg and potato’s as well as other things too. It was placed near the shopping center and boardwalk, and right along the beach which were all walkable! The staff were very friendly and easy going, I loved this place and I plan on coming back again very soon!

Gave me the ick

The rooms are out dated with low ceiling no ac and the sink was broken. The shower had hair in it and they charged me dogs even though I told them multiple times I didn’t end up brining my dogs. We couldn’t check in early and the breakfast was steamed sauces- and wet scrambled eggs. Never again

Almost perfect

This is my second time at Ebb Tide. It has a great location and compared to last year, it's just about exactly how it was last year. The rooms are clean and the office is cute with it's themed touches in orange and white. It offers fire wood for beach fires and some snacks, cookies, water and coffee. Overall very good stay. What I can say is that the outside is a bit tired. The carpets and overall building is old looking and it would be nice to have a few more amenities. You have to go up and down the stairs for ice, drink machine etc.... but it's an older property so not so unexpected. I would love to see them have bike loaners, which would be a fun addition, or something that makes them stand out. The most unfortunate part is something that would require a lot of work, would be a oceanfront balcony. I paid extra for an ocean front room and there isn't a balcony. They have some to the side, but it would be great to have one oceanfront. I would pay extra for that. Overall though a really nice and convenient stay, close to everything. They are almost there. Would consider staying there again if I came back to Seaside.

This property is in a great location right on the beach and walkable to downtown Seaside. It is an older property. It is pet friendly and we brought our dogs along. It is reasonably priced and offers sleeping accommodations for families.

The hotel was on the beach which was the one thing that made the trip ok. The hotel needs upgrading it was rundown in every respect. And there was no way near enough parking.

Special place In my heart ❤️

I’ve been visiting the Ebb Tide Hotel since I was a little girl. It’s charming, slightly outdated, and just a hop away from the main strip and the aquarium—perfect for pondering life while watching fish. The rooms are clean and comfy, the bathrooms spotless, and the lobby service is very welcoming. Plus, they serve coffee all day, which is essential for survival. Comtinental Breakfast is served daily between 7-10AM. Offer pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, and more. But the real highlight? Around 6 PM, the lobby brings out trays of cookies that are practically a treasure hunt! Just beware: they disappear faster than you can say "cookie monster." I've seen guests grab them like they're auditioning for a cookie-eating contest! 🧐 Hotel also has firewood, kindling and paper for about $6.00. I highly recommend going out to the beach to do a fire. It’s beautiful to watch the sunset and view the stars at night. You may be lucky to see a fireworks show. Overall, Ebb Tide Hotel is a nostalgic gem with a side of cookie chaos. I will always keep coming back for the memories ❤️
