The room was in good condition but our king corner room in building one only gave us a view of the roof of the main building, part of the parking lot and neighborhood homes off in the distance. The picture shown during booking made the view look different.

No balcony room, and the room smelled like sewer. The staff was also extremely unhelpful and rude, both front desk attendants had an attitude and were extremely disrespectful. I was also changed an additional $50 upon arriving to the property.

Our 2 day stay was exceptional! Our one bedroom 3rd floor corner suite with an ocean view was everything I hoped it would be. The kitchen, fireplace, deck, and the living space was so welcoming and comfortable. The elevator was a game changer for us. The staff is very professional and attentive. Your cleaning staff was above and beyond! We loved the bunnies. They were very entertaining. And the beach access stairs were fantastic. My husband is blind and was able to navigate them easily. We saw 2 beautiful sunsets and the first one had the "Green Flash" which was thrilling as they are so rare! We will be back for sure and will tell all of our friends about Tolovana Inn.

The bed was sipposed to be a queen but was a murphy fild out. Very uncomfortable pullout couch type sleeping. Also, a neighbor was continuously smoking on their balcony which made it so our oceanfront sliding door to our balcony had to remain shut. Called the front multiple times. Very unhappy with the stay and would likely not return nor recommend.

The staff were extremely helpful. The room was clean, we were in a corner suite, so as close to the water as possible. Had to have the pilot light lit for the fire and request blankets for the pull out, but otherwise the stay was exactly what I needed. The suite was clean but where the natural gas shut off valve was there was an unattached door that fell off when a gust of wind blew. Scared me when it hit the floor. That would be rectified with a simple spring door or a hinge. The shower turn-on was difficult to find and had to have someone come show us. It had two handles, on to turn on the water, one to control the heat and you have to pull the bottom of the spout to get the shower to work. It was more complicated than necessary. However - when we asked for help we had staff there within five minutes to assist. The only real noise we had was neighbors doors that slammed. But it was quiet at night, which was great. One great thing is Mo’s was next door so food was quick and easy if you didn’t want to go into town. With all of that said - I would stay here again. Access to the actual beach was easy with stairs on one side of the building and a ramp on the other.
