As you get to the hotel the area smells like urine. The hotel was so hot people were leaving because it was SO uncomfortable. The A/C was out because of renovations. The carpet was old and very stained. Room was SO incredible hot. Couldn't rebook somewhere else because hotel prices were last minute and super expensive. The fire alarms kept going off. Just a very bad experience. I requested a fan the moment i checked in and I had to request it again and still didn't get it until the following day late afternoon. Horrible.

I like the hotel, especially breakfast if very good. However, AC was not working and it was extremely hot in the room. There will be maintenance running for a year or something so will book something else for the next trip.

We did not stay even one night in this hotel. It was unseasonably warm in London. The air conditioning was apparently broken, though we were not warned about this ahead of time or when we checked in. The hotel had the windows open, which probably would have been okay, except that there seemed to be a dance club right below us. We closed the windows, shut the curtains, and turned on the AC, but it was blowing hot air. We called downstairs and the front desk informed us that the AC was broken. The hotel was very apologetic, and allowed us to check out without charge. Assuming the AC normally works, this was probably not something that normally happens, but I feel like the real issue was not being informed ahead of time.

Have stayed at this hotel numerous time because of the location. It’s looking very tired, rooms are in desperate need of renovation. We stayed during a mini heatwave in May and the air conditioning in the rooms had to be turned off as some were being replaced with new units. There was no communication or apology. It was difficult to sleep. Someone was smoking on our floor, it was noisy as not all rooms have double glazing. Will be looking elsewhere for next stay in London.
