Pros: - Location to train station. - Amenities close by (grocery, drugstore, food) - Many of staff were overall friendly. - Hotel smelled nice. Cons: - Room noise was beyond - Room was located outside of the elevator and housekeeping closet and facing the street (with poorly insulated windows) - Room size is deceiving. Classic room is okay for one person but would be very cramped with two people. - Housekeeping not very aware. Beds weren’t changed during a long stay (7 days). Room flooring didn’t seem to be well-vacuumed. - Confronted at check out (in front of other staff) to leave a 5% tip for all staff. I was not expecting that and felt so very uncomfortable. - Restaurant staff were not very attentive. Had to ask where drinks were. Had to ask to order. Had to ask for bill. Food was okay, but had to be eaten immediately because it got hard.

As always, an exceptional stay, a welcome gift of a free drink in the bar, lovely staff and gorgeous welcome. Moreover, everything works in the facilities and, unusually, all the individual parts work intuitively from the shower, the lighting, the coffee making machines, the thorough quality of the bedding, furniture, sound-proofing, blackout blinds, restaurant, concierge etc. My unqualified favourite of mine for London stays. As good as any 5 star I have stayed in. Exceptional!

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was wonderful throughout our stay. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and helpful. The only issue we experienced was that the toilet in one of our rooms was not working properly, and unfortunately it took two days for the issue to be resolved. Aside from that inconvenience, we had a very pleasant experience and would consider staying again.

We were made up with our stay here in the heart of Kensington. From checking in with Roberto he welcomed us with such enthusiasm. Our room was beautiful, roomy, spotlessly clean. We had drinks in the bar, the staff were very friendly. The hotel is situated on a quiet road. We would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Great hotel within easy walking distance of Earl's Court Tube station. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed. I imagine one area the hotel could improve would be in communication and transparency. At check-in the staff pre-authorized 50 GBP per room, per night on my credit card. This was explained to cover incidentals. Only when I checked my credit card statement after I departed did I see they had charged 5% for discretionary service charge. OK, maybe this is legitimate, but the team could have noted this at some point, in order to manage expectations.

Here is a much shorter, well under-1500-character version that still warns people clearly: ⸻ We stayed at the Miiro Templeton Garden and liked the location: it’s on a quiet street and only a three-minute walk from Earl’s Court station, which is very convenient. The hotel itself is cute, but guests should be careful when booking a Superior room. We chose that category because the website shows bright, spacious rooms with real windows. The room we were given looked nothing like the photos. The only “windows” were small and high near the ceiling, and the ventilation wasn’t working. It was 26°C and felt claustrophobic. Reception first said the hotel was full and couldn’t move us. Later that night, after insisting and showing them the photos, the night manager started offering alternatives. The process was messy: one room was in the basement, and another was mistakenly shown to us even though a guest was already inside. After about 40 minutes, we were finally moved to a proper Superior room on the fifth floor, which matched what we originally booked and had working ventilation. When we got ready for bed, we found hairs on the sheets, but Nina from staff fixed it quickly and was very kind. After that, the stay was fine. Overall, the hotel is charming and well located, but the start was stressful. Be aware that not all “Superior” rooms match the photos, so confirm the room layout if natural light matters to you.
