BUDGET HOTEL

The pictures from the website look better. There was a lovely lady and gentleman on the reception and they offered luggage storage abeit in the reception area. The room was serviced every day. Clean towels every day and clean sheets. There was a kettle and tea and coffee in the room. There was a fan in the room. The decor could have been better but overall it was in a good location and it was somewhere to sleep.

Location is the only plus for this hotel

quite possibly the worst hotel i’ve stayed in for cleanliness but the receptionist was helpful and location was good room was small bathroom smelt mildew and damp hot and no air flow dust behind radiator paint coming off the walls

When I got to the hotel it was closed. The are two phone numbers one in the door saying to contact for assistance- when I phoned this number the phone was switched off, I left voicemails which no one returned. There was another phone number on the sign, which is also the same as Expedia and this number just rang out. There are key boxes on the doors, but no one left me a key or sent me a code if the hotel had had to close in an emergency. I was there left on my own with no access to the hotel room I had booked and paid for. I had to then phone another hotel and check in at premium price late at night or would have had nowhere to stay, nearly a week later and still no one had returned my calls or sent me a refund!

Great hotel, 5 minutes walk to Olympia conference center, staff were very friendly, allowed me to check in very late due to traffic on route however was clean and staff helpful! Will stay again and would recommend!

Fine for a one night stay and for what we paid . Our room was very small and on 2nd floor, seemed to be on a tilt . Very hot and stuffy, fan was provided.

Holland rd hotel London

Wonderful people and so friendly and helpful. Very small accommodation and bathroom was almost alarmingly tiny. Could use more space for things, limited shelving or surfaces to use for our belongings. Mini fridge was a huge plus, and the mattresses were new I believe, as they were amazingly comfortable. Slept really well there, and it was very quiet. Nice stay, but probably not for people who need a bit more space, have a lot of luggage, or are used to American chain hotels. Would definitely recommend to solo trailers on a budget.

Avoid if possible

Clean sheets and hot water- good! A kettle - also good. Room was under street level - dark; cold; tiny. Bed was a foldable stretcher type bed. Not happy. The shower was close to toilet with no separation or curtains or screens. After showering the whole bathroom floor was like a swimming pool. Did not drain.. even by the next day. Mould on walls. Smelt damp and mouldy too.

Although the staff were friendly enough, I was very disappointed with my stay in & the condition of this hotel. There was no heating (it was freezing cold.) There was no hot water (just barely tepid.) The toilet seat was broken & slid off when u sat down (dangerous.) The plug socket was broken (with blue sparks when unplugged!) The bathroom smelled & was mouldy. The single-glazed, sash windows made it SO noisy (located on main road.) Not a 'short walk' but a bus ride from the tube station. I definitely would not stay here again.
