The property wasn't unique. It was just a hotel. For the price, i would have liked for it to be more unique.

This Hilton hotel is definitely NOT a four star hotel, I’d give it two stars at best. The room was old, moldy, and provided the bare minimums for a stay. Here’s why: 1. Bed- very lumpy, springs collapsed and both sides sagging on either side. VERY uncomfortable to sleep on, worst hotel bed that my wife & I had ever encountered. We lifted the sheet and the mattress was completely stained, very disgusting! 2. Carpet- stained in multiple areas. 3. Fridge- empty and not even pulled in. Why, in a self- proclaimed 4 star hotel, would you not have a functioning mini-fridge? It was basically just furniture to hold the tv on. 4. Bathroom- mold in the shower and chipped paint on tub. The shower head couldn’t be positioned to face the inside of the shower, it sprayed onto the bathroom floor. The air vent also was thick with crud and dirt. 5. When we checked out, the desk agent didn’t even bother to ask how our stay was. We had to tell him about it. He revealed that the hotel was being slowly renovated floor by floor. We asked then why guests were being booked in these failing rooms if they knew that they badly needed to be renovated and he didn’t have an answer. He only offered us a room upgrade (to be used by the end of this year) at that specific hotel. (If we ever came back). This was the worst Hilton Hotel that we had ever stayed in.

Nice hotel close to the Underground

Pleasant experience. The only issue I had was the ac (which was on top of the pull out bed) leaked in the middle of the night and saturated one of my family members. Called hotel staff who moved half of us to a new room at 3am to sleep, and then next day moved all of our stuff into a new hotel room for remainder of our stay. They also compensated us for inconvenience. Everyone was friendly and the breakfast buffet is delish!

Family room was really just a double

Pros: see above

Location: fabulous middle eastern eats in this area; and the waterside cafe on the canal is a fun little find!
So overall pretty disappointed. I paid for and requested a family room so that three adults could stay comfortably and with their own beds (the description at the time of the booking was two beds and a pull out couch)... ended up with two double beds and the claim that I would have to pay 70 pounds extra a night if i wanted a trundle bed (not that there was any room in the room for said bed, so we ended up doubling up on the bed and got over the awkwardness of it all) the room was not ready for us when we arrived and we waited an extra 5 hours to shower and change - I had called ahead and requested early checkin. the staff was often short and unhelpful - my favorite of these examples is when housekeeping "cleaned" our room, but missed cleaning the toilet, however removed all the shampoos and soaps and did not replace them. when i asked the concierge for shampoo and soap he was super confused and it took him a while to understand the request and send someone up with the toiletries. there were a few exceptions - the gentleman who took our bags while we were rootless was wonderful and kind- finding us someplace to change so that we didn't attend our conference in jeans. the concierge on friday night helped me find a lost credit card and went above and beyond in that endeavor... however, not worth the cost and below what i expected from a hilton.

Really Hilton??

Pros: The staff.
Cons: Update the mattresses and bathrooms.
Location: There is nothing to do near by. Not the neighborhood you want to be walking around at night either.
First of all the staff were super nice and helpful. And the lobby, bar, restaurant areas nice too. That's not their problem. The room was in not so great condition. The bed was literally the most uncomfortable thing ever. Like sleeping on one of those inflatable mattresses, hard, any turning over at all resulted in loud noises. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been updated in many years. And I have to say the neighborhood was not what I was expecting either. The outside of the hotel is the most unwelcoming sight ever. We didn't even stay the full time and left after one night. I don't know why I thought Hilton in the name meant something but I was wrong.

hotel was nice but under rentavation that started

Nice hotel with a great location!

This hotel is on a corner right near both the Edgeware road and the Paddington subway stations. It's across the street from a great M&S store that has both clothing and groceries. There is also a great pub right on the sidewalk just past the Edgware road station. The hotel is massive and looks as if it may be bring remodeled. The concierge service was quite good in planning and booking tours. There is a very large stretch just to to the left of the hotel that is not the best area, but overall-I would recommend this place and would stay here again. Free Wi fi if you sign up for Hilton Honors which is free.

Not Quite Four Stars

Pros: Cleanliness and size of rooms.
Cons: Rates were stiff for the quality.
Location: Montparnasse Tower is nearby for rooftop viewing of the city. Metro and especially rail connections make the rest of the city accessible.
This hotel is adequate but not quite deserving of a 4 star rating. It is close to the Montparnasse rail station. The Montparnasse Metro station is more of a walk away. The rooms are large enough and housekeeping is good. The surrounding area is somewhat dirty due to the rail station. There is an interesting view of the Eiffel Tower from the sidewalk in front of the hotel.
