"Overall a really nice stay at the Wailea. Our room got upgraded to a fantastic ocean view room in the Chapel wing. The pools were fantastic and so much fun with all the water slides. We would always arrive mid to late morning. The breakfast buffet was not as good as I had hoped. All the baked items (pancakes, waffles, pastries, etc.) were super underwhelming and didn't feel fresh. One thing really bothered me that I'm having trouble letting go of it. I ordered two drinks at the pool bar. When I went back to order a third the bartender told me he lost my first receipt and asked me to sign a new receipt for a charge of 3 drinks. I did however when I asked to confirm that the first charge would not appear on my bill I wasn't totally confident in his answer. So I texted the front desk to ensure I wasn't being double charged. It took them 28 hours from my first test to get back to me with an answer. This caused me extra anxiety and worry during one of my vacation days that felt so unnecessary and really stained the service of the hotel. All over a $75 drink order.... I don't understand why they couldn't get an answer to me sooner and never really got an explanation. The last thing is they have no place to shower off after check out for those who fly out later. We had a red eye and stayed at the hotel way beyond checkout time. I had to fly home covered in sand and chlorine. My husband used soap in the beach showers to get as clean as possible."

"This was a nice resort. Probably a little more costly than it should be. Beautiful ocean view. No direct beach access which was kind of a bummer. Game room, Movie Room, Gym, Spa were all nice to haves. Bars by the pools, but not swim up. No real main bar other than in the restaurant…"

"This was the most incredible stay! I cannot even express how incredibly gorgeous and breathtaking the property is; everywhere you look it is mesmerizing. The staff was top notch, the amenities were so great, and the breakfast was lovely. We looked at many resorts in Wailea and I can confidently say that after staying at the Andaz there is no competition. We even ate at the Four Seasons and were not wowed because we just loved Andaz so much! LOL The only thing we didn’t love was the Alfredo and Parmesan fries at Andaz but everything else was pretty tasty. The room was also fantastic; everything was fully stocked daily if you requested them to service your room. There is even an Ohana lounge after checkout that has showers, complimentary drinks, etc. which was incredible for us! We checked our luggage and enjoyed the property alllll day because of that additional lounge access amenity. Paddle boarding on the ocean and the outrigger was also so cool, and there were so many different options of water equipment that you could easily check out even without booking a session. I have to say this was 10/10 and we have already discussed making Andaz our yearly getaway. It is unmatched. What a perfect and romantic getaway, ugh! I am sooo sad to even leave!"

"We just got back from a week at the Butterfly House and it did not disappoint. The house itself is really impressive — tons of space for our whole group, and the pool area was hands down everyone's favorite part. We ended up spending most of our downtime out there.The kitchen was a big one for us too. It's genuinely fully equipped — and I mean down to the spices, oils, and pretty much every non-perishable you'd need. For a group our size, that meant we could actually cook real meals without making a run to the store for a bunch of pantry stuff we'd only use once. Small thing, but it made a real difference.Baylor, our host, was also great to deal with. He was easy to reach, helped us sort out activities, and made sure everything was ready for us when we showed up. Just made the whole week run smoother.Honestly, we'd book it again without thinking twice. Highly recommend it if you've got a group headed to Maui."
