Really loved our time at Maui coast hotel. It was clean and all amenities were upgraded. We were at Kai tower and loved the place . The breakfast at kihei cafe was also fantastic. Perfect location to visit Maui and all beaches were within reach and walking distance.

Excellent location with friendly and kind staff. Stayed in the Kai tower that was newer than the other section. Lots of airline crew stay here also! Pools were never too busy or overcrowded. Look forward to returning!

This place was a great choice! Rooms were clean and spacious, property was well maintained, and it was convenient to the beach (just across the street) and many restaurants. We rented bikes (for free!) and went further down the street for more lunch options, and also took advantage of the free shuttle service for a few dinners. There were 2 pools, free towels and sunscreen, 3 hot tubs, tons of pool chairs and free verandas to choose from, and a pool bar. We loved lounging around the pool area with the kids! They handed out free mango mochi each day on the pool deck - yum! Nearby Kīhei Cafe was great for a quick breakfast or lunch (just across the parking lot!) and unfortunately Miso Phat was not open yet - also right across the parking lot, but there is another location up the road. There was an ABC store within a few minutes walk where you can buy anything- snacks, drinks, sunscreen, toiletries, medicine, souvenirs, etc that was very convenient! Also they have a hospitality room where you can shower and store your stuff in lockers after check-out if you have a later flight - great perk our group used. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.

Good hotel, although the rooms are dated. However, the service was superb, the staff friendly, and accommodating. Breakfast at Kehei Cafe was terrific with a large variety of items all excellent. Lastly, but perhaps most importantly, it has a great location across from the beach! Overall a great place to stay.

I would have liked this place a lot had it not been for the terrible interaction I was left with while checking out. The assistant manager was so unlike any Hawaiian hospitality managers I have interacted with - and I’ve been to Hawaii probably 13 times now. There’s a feeling of warmth, love, and humanness when you come here. Long story short - I had requested 15-20 min past the checkout time because I was only there for a few hours because of a flight delay and was exhausted so needed some extra “minutes” to get everything together. She refused and said “sorry but the housekeepers will actually be waiting outside already when you are leaving” - as a comm major, I was appalled that she could even say something so obnoxious to a customer who paid $900 for staying 10 hours at the hotel! That really spoiled it for me - I usually stay at the Ritz every time I come here but this was unexpected and I actually really liked the hotel and the room - but honestly even the other staff members up front had this really negative energy around them which is what I really value. So no, wouldn’t recommend. We like smiles, we like love, we like warmth!
