"Good value for location, view. Hotel itself is very functional, staff very friendly. The carpets and upholstery are a bit stained, bathrooms a bit smelly. A drawer was broken in our dresser. Though you get a balcony to yourself, they are not private. I loved the ocean front view, and leaving our door open to hear the sound of the ocean. The noise from Kalakaua is loud (party busses, street cleaning, motorcycles, etc). Loved that the beach was right there, and being close to Waikiki-adjacent restaurants on Kapahulu. Would stay again."

The only thing that would have been nice if we could have presigned for lei making as we had a party of 6 and only 2 were able to participate. We had asked 2 days in advance if we could register and were told not necessary. "
