Several pros and cons about this hotel. Pros: Can't really beat the access to Waikiki beach and the several stores and restaurants in the area. We upgraded to a partial ocean view room and seeing the surfers out in the early morning was a part of our daily routine. I also appreciated the free beach bag and towels given at check in. You can also take advantage of the free boogie boards and sand toys in the community bin as long as you bring them back. Cons: This hotel is old and the room is small. The bathroom was particularly small where my partner who is rather tall could not fit in the shower. The parking garage is tight and only has about 12 or so spots but it is another $50/nt to park in the garage. Compact sedans can really only fit inside.

We had been on a 11 night cruise from Vancouver that disembarked in Honolulu and chose to stay one night at the Aston Waikiki Circle Hotel. We were aware check-in wasn't until 3 pm but knew the hotel would keep our luggage upon our arrival at 8 am. We were in for a surprise when we were told that we could not only upgrade our room to Oceanview for just a few more dollars but the room was ready at that time! The front desk staff was so nice!! Beautiful ocean view and quaint room. The bathroom didn't have much counter space but that is normal for a "mom & pop" style hotel. The window style air conditioner installed in the wall worked well but can be a little loud if you are trying to watch anything on the TV which we had a little trouble trying to use. The beds were comfortable. Hotel is located right across the street from Waikiki Beach and you can walk easily to all the local shopping and the Honolulu Zoo. Overall a great little gem of a hotel with a bit of nostalgia that we would definitely stay at again.

Basic older hotel with small rooms, low ceiling.

mgr said to upgrade room for 40.00. balcony was unusable because the was brutal, the metal chairs are so hot you can't sit on them. The view did include the ocean as well as driveway, entry, extreme traffic noise. Had to keep shades closed because the small in wall A/C could not handle the heat. Room temperature was 80f. Balcony was acessible from roof below which did not make me feel secure. basic hotel without amenities in a great location. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
