"Desk staff was wonderful & very friendly! I cannot say enough for how simple they made check-in and answered my questions. Room was very clean & comfortable - one of the first rooms I've ever checked into that wasn't set on 74 Heat LOL So I do appreciate the staff keeping the guests in mind. Indoor pool was clean, though the hot pool could have been skimmed for some small bugs, but otherwise was very nice. The breakfast choices were great for a continental breakfast. I liked the options of different waffle batters and juices, and the eating area was kept very clean. The potatoes & sausage were tasty for a quick breakfast. This hotel is in a great location if you need to be in Charleston, but don't want to be in the middle of town and still have some breathing room. You're close to so many restaurants as well as shopping stores like Target. Will definitely be staying here the next time I need to be in Charleston!"

"This location was horrible for a Marriott. The staff was not helpful, I believe at least one of them was on drugs. They charge $15 for parking even if you don't use it, in the same garage that everyone else uses for free. The elevator is super slow, there is no free Wi-Fi, and charge $17 for a breakfast that should be included. They nickle and dime you for everything. They have the balcony padlocked closed in the room, making it useless. The restaurant has rude staff and keeps most of it closed down and unusable. This location is a waste of money. The only positive is that it is close to the arena."
